Starting immediately, seeking caretaker couple, with RV to care for our small 20 space,1&1/2 acre, RV Park 

 in Bowie Texas.  In exchange, we supply RV pad, cable, water, septic hookup.  An additional stipend of $300 may be available. This is considered a long-term situation.

Caretakers responsibilities include:

1)  RV and property maintenance of community owned RV’s

2)  Monitor, repair, and improve RV’s and outbuilding along with maintaining park

3)  Protect RV’s from freezing, periodic maintenance of roof coating, exterior pressure washing, maintenance, lawn care

4)  General Security of property

5)  Be responsible with good decision making skills

6)  Clean, meticulous, and organized

7)  Handy with general maintenance and small carpentry skills

8) Be a consistent presence on the property

 Projects available to improve property for additional stipend:

——Conversion of outbuilding to efficiency apartment

——Sourcing RV’s for vacant spaces

——Repair and lease vacant RV “s

Situated approximately three and a half miles North of Bowie Texas.

Mechanical Skills would be a wonderful plus. This situation is for an indefinite period of time.

I am looking for a long term caretaker or couple to look after our ranch house at the base of the Manzano Mountains just east of Tome, NM.  The house is plumbed and has a solar pv system for lighting, gas stove and water heater, 2 bedrooms and 1 bath.  it is in pretty good condition, new roof, hardwood flooring, nice yard, etc.  Surrounding the house is a 320 acre pasture, a fruit orchard and reservoir, storage barn and small corral, all of this set in the Manzano Wilderness area.  The property is the former headquarters for a cattle ranch.

Applicants should have a job (or other type of income) and good transportation, as the nearest town is about 15 minutes away by gravel road.
