Friendly host couple wanted from now until Oct 1, 2017, with potential for upcoming years.  Inside duties include checking campers in, selling  miscellaneous items in a small store/office. Computer experience required.  Outside work includes mowing, weed whipping, deliverying firewood & general maintenance.  

Park is located on Pokegama Lake near Pine City, Mn.  Park is a fun family friendly environment with 40 daily sites & 150 seasonal sites.   Amenities include a 9 hole golf course, swimming pool & a small marina. 

6 Host couples work on a rotating schedule of  3 days of 6 hr shifts on duty & then 6 days off.  Hours are 9 am - 9pm Sun-Thurs; 9am-10pm Fri & Sat. 

Compensation includes RV site rent, golf, dock slip, gas, electric & a monthly stipend.

Workcamping Couple - Welaka, FL

Our Resort is in need of help beginning mid June through October, but our real need now is to cover July and August while some of our regulars are on vacation. So if you’d like to try workcamping just for a couple months, this could be the way to do it!

We are a small, friendly “Old Florida” resort with a pool, huge community spa, 8 cottages and 19 RV sites in the little rural town of Welaka. We have a 5 star rating on www.tripadvisor.com. Check out our website.

In exchange for working, we offer a full hookup site with wifi and ½ price at our Boathouse Bar on the river. On Sunday afternoons from March through October, we have the grill open serving chicken & fish sandwiches, hamburgers, fries, brats & hot dogs. The bar is also open for beautiful sunsets on Friday & Saturday evenings when we serve light snacks such as pizza. (Please note that we do not offer monetary compensation).

Schedules are made on Friday based on the number of cottages to be cleaned, so there are not set work days, but we are always off on Saturdays. Some weeks we work fewer hours & others more, but hours would average 20 hours per week per couple.

Normally, the gentlemen handle outdoor light maintenance such as pool cleaning, blowing leaves off cottage porches, checking hot tubs, etc. Ladies spend most of their hours cleaning our beautiful cottages.

Hobby Farm Caretakers - State College, PA

Hello we have a hobby farm that is a 15 minute drive from State College PA.  We are looking for a couple to live and work on our property.  There is one small cottage available for caretakers.   The cottage sits overlooking a creek and 200 acres of woodlands and pasture.  We have some cows, pigs, goats, chickens- and a heavy stream of guests who visit and stay at the big house in the busy summer season.  The rest of the time it's a pretty relaxed time.  This is a job that is ideal for someone who works from home or has an other job in the surrounding area.  There will be a small rent charged for the caretaker home that will be able to be worked off.  There will be additional hours available but it varies according to the season. 

We are a pretty liberal place- if you are offended by liberal politics- this place is not for you.

Caretakers must have:

1.  own transportation

2.  One person must be experienced with housekeeping:  experience working at a B&B a plus.

3.  One person should be handy or experienced with gardening or animals:  experience as a handyperson a plus.

Job Description:

Looking for a married couple to serve as caretaker and cooks for a bed and breakfast operation between Rio Grande and San Isidro, TX. It is important that have experience cooking Mexican and American food for a large groups.

Couple must be self-motivated and do a multi-task maintenance activities in the house and lodge, also cleaning.

Some weeks will be 70-80 hours a week (fall and winter), other weeks can be 20-30 hours (spring and summer). Compensation will be $7.25/hr per person.

Housing will be included on site. Must maintain a clean home.

Must have a valid driver’s license and visa to work in the US.
