Domestic Couple - Mendham, NJ

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Domestic Couple for semi-formal residence located in Mendham, New Jersey. Previous experience in a semi-formal residence is required. This live-in position will be responsible for the day to day running of the residence and property, hands on participation for interior and exterior care to maintain high standards and efficiency. Applicants must have previous experience in private service for all elements of residential amenities, managing trades and vendors, general handyman skills, household inventories and home tech services. Light national travel required.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Daily housekeeping to maintain household standards including care of fine finishes, china, silver, cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, laundry and ironing
· Organize and manage household inventories, closets and storage areas
· Wardrobe management on a seasonal basis or as special needs arise
· Packing and unpacking for travel
· Scheduling and managing trades and vendors
· Front door management including greeting guests and receiving packages
· Special projects that could include but are not limited to quarterly deep cleans, kitchen/bedroom cupboard clean and reorganization, refrigerator clean and reorganization
· Vehicle management
· Greeting of guests and visitors, answering of telephone and taking messages
· Running of errands and grocery shopping
Applicant Qualities:
· Must have previous experience working in a semi-formal style residence
· Excellent housekeeping and laundry skills, knowledge of products and methods of use
· Must be flexible with work schedule
· Must be comfortable with children and pets
· Applicants must be service oriented and self-starters
· Knowledgeable with practical handy man experience and management of trades and vendors
· Applicants should be energetic with a strong work ethic, strong communication skills and ability to anticipate needs of principals
· Applicants should have a neat and polished appearance
· Must exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times
· Must have a valid driver's license with clean driving record
· Must be legally entitled to work in the United States

The Good: The reputation in the community is solid with the locals and has tremendous potential to grow with the right leadership. There is a great foundation.
The Bad: The business has never made money. Primarily it's because I have had inexperienced General Managers that lacked overall P&L management experience. It's a small community, but we've done over $500K in business a couple of years ago. We scaled back a little, but there is opportunity to do in excess of $1 million with the right leadership.
The Ugly: It is tough to find long-term A players for staff. However, if you can train exceptionally well, then it could be successful.
I started this business to help give back to the community nearly 10 years ago. I do not have restaurant experience and have been hiring General Managers over the years who did not have the experience to operate the business professionally or profitably.

Seeking On-Site Managers for Two Manufactured Home Parks - Medford, OR

On Site Management couple needed for to adjacent manufactured home parks in the Medford/Phoenix, Oregon area. Residence or RV parking space provided. Must have maintenance and landscape maintenance background.
Position responsibilities include management of a small private water system, office responsibilities, routine landscape maintenance of common areas including sprinkler system, turn overs for a couple of park owned rentals, and cleaning and maintenance of a laundry facility in one of the parks.
Pay will depend on whether the onsites have their own RV or if the Park owner provides housing in a manufactured home. Hours vary between 20-40 hours a week. Job description available upon request.

Our roadhouse is located in an awesome valley 25 miles northwest of Steamboat Springs Colorado. We have a full service restaurant, bar, c store, gas station, 10 cabin''s and 12 hotel rooms and 2 hot tubs. We have a year round business that serves tourists from Steamboat Springs and surrounding areas. The ideal candidates would have skills in restaraunt and bar operations, kitchen management, maintenance and snow removal as well as lodging operations.
We also offer snowmobile, sliegh and horse rides in the winter. With atv and utv tours and rentals and wagon and horserides in the summer. This is only a job for a couple that can multi task and get their hands dirty daily. We have 2 slow seasons early spring and late fall every year. We require that you live onsite and manage the business on a daily basis. This is a working position that requires alot of varying experience.
This position will require some late night closing since we do live music on saturday nights. This is a very demanding position that requires a couple that work well together and brings different bag of tools to the table to help over see that wide ranges of skill sets needed to fill this position.
This is a Year round salary position. 40+ hours a week slow seasons and 50+ hours a week during busy season 6/15-9/15 @ 12/20-3/31). Includes a 3 bedroom 1 bath apartment over the Cstore with nice views big kitchen and living room and a porch. $28,000.00 a year per person plus tips. 2 weeks of paid vacation per year 1 week spring closing and 1 week fall closing. We include 1 shift meal perday perperson that you are working. You will need to have or obtain basic first aid and CPR certification.
