Seeking Club Managers for Northern Michigan Private Hunting and Fishing Lodge. We are seeking a couple to serve as Club Managers to oversee all operations, daily food services, housekeeping, property management and groundskeeping of our 1,800 acre hunting and fishing lodge in Baldwin, MI.

The club is generally open to our 33 members and their guests from March 1 to December 31. Cash compensation includes a base salary, proceeds (including gratuity) from all meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) and hospitality services (lodging), and a discretionary year-end bonus. All utilities and housing in an on-site two-bedroom house are included.

Ideal candidates have experience in hospitality settings, have a love for the outdoors, and are capable with basics of property management.

All shifts must be willing to:
• Work in all types of weather and inside units that can get hot inside depending on season
• Stand for 7–8-hour shifts
• Lift up to 25 lbs. using proper bending and lifting techniques
• Walk up and down many stairs in a day and navigate hilly pathways

Compensation
• Team Member: $17/hour
• $500 Bonus: Receive a $500 bonus after one month of strong employment to assist with travel expenses.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and answer questions.
• Process payments in POS System.
• Keep the sales floor tidy and well-stocked.
• Prepare food orders and make espresso in Café.
• Clean and maintain equipment in Café.
• Ability to be flexible and work 10 - 12 hours per day.
• Follow Company and departmental environmental practices, safety practices, and policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be enthusiastic, friendly and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service and detail oriented.
• Previous experience in retail or food & beverage environment
• Must have skills in effective oral communication, POS System and cashing handling in addition to strong problem-solving and resolution.
• Ability to pass Food Handlers Certificate.

• Must have good knees and back to make frequent trips up & down steep narrow stairs.
