We are a very small, friendly “Old Florida” style 4 acre facility with a pool, 8 upscale cottages & 18 RV sites in the little rural town of Welaka. The resort is in very natural surroundings with lots of Oak trees covered with Spanish moss. Our roads are not fully paved. Our guests love it here. We have a 5 star rating on trip advisor.
The area has multiple hiking trails, including the nearby Welaka State Forest, and across the river, the Ocala National Forest. There are lightly traveled roads throughout our area where you will often see bikers and walkers. If you like to canoe, kayak or fish, the river is just a few steps from any location in the resort. In addition to our seasonal bar, there are 2 restaurants in Welaka within walking distance. We have a Dollar General Store right in town and Walmart, Lowe’s, major grocery stores etc. are 20-35 minutes from us. We are only about 45 minutes from Historic St. Augustine and major hospital facilities.
Sites do not have concrete pads as do the other sites in the resort. Some may have wood decks. You are welcome to plant flowers or improve the site as you wish.
Thursday night is resort wide Pizza/pot luck night at the pool bar area. Many nights during the winter months are spent around our large community campfire with a glass of wine or a beer and during summers, we enjoy the pool together.

Work Camper Team Needed - Boerne, TX
WHY DO WE SHOW EXPIRED LISTINGS?
OFFICE & MAINTENANCE POSITIONS - Interested in spending the Spring/Summer season exploring the Texas Hill Country?
We are located near Boerne, TX... just 30 minutes from the excitement of historic San Antonio. It is now time to put together our working camper team for the Spring/Summer season or even longer if you so desire.
An office working camper would be using the ASTRA software program to take reservations, check in guest, and doing point of sales for the store. ASTRA is a relative new campground software but if you are the least bit computer savvy, we can train you in it's use. Also, you will generally be the first person our guest meet. So we only want individuals that are happy, like meeting new people, and able to smile while dealing with an occasional grouch.
Our maintenance working campers keep the place looking sharp. Their duties will include grounds keeping, pool maintenance, escorting guest to a site, plumbing repairs, light electrical, and just general upkeep. This working camper must be in good physical health and able to work in the Texas heat and humidity.
An average work schedule per couple would be 2 days a week, 28 hrs. total. You will work on the same days therefore have the same days off. A single working camper will be asked to work 4 days per week, 28 hrs. total. If you choose to apply for these openings, we ask for a 6 month commitment (April-Sept) or longer if you desire.
As compensation, we offer a FHU Site with 30/50 amp electric, $10 per week laundry stipend, use of all facilities and WiFi in most areas of the park.
