We are a small resort with five cabins and six full hook-up RV sites in the Tahoe National Forest nestled along the North Yuba River on scenic Highway #49 just outside of Downieville in Northern California. We are looking for an energetic couple in good health to perform the tasks of guest relations, general maintenance and and cabin cleaning. We offer a full hookup RV space on the river and a weekly salary for this seasonal opportunity. Position is open May 15 and ends October 15.

Assistant Management Couple for Off-The-Grid Jungle Lodge - Cayo Belize

EXPERIENCED ASSISTANT-MANAGEMENT COUPLE sought for leading eco-jungle resort in Belize, C.A

Full Time, On Site Living

We are looking for an experienced Assistant -Management Couple to live on –site with at least 4-5 years of experience in an off-grid Resort/ Lodge environment.  Candidates must be able to work long hours and live in a remote location. This position is not suitable for a couple with children  or wanting to start a family in the very near future due to the remote location of the lodge and the irregular working hours. Unfortunately pets are not permitted

Ideally one of the couple will have experience in F&B management - superivising  our kitchen and 60 seater restaurant – very good knowledge of all aspects of inventory and stock control, supervising the POS, staff management and staff scheduling experience will be advantageous. Good guest relations and supervision in the restaurant during meal times in a host/ess role in this vital area of our lodge is very important. The ability to work hand in hand with our two chefs and motivate full utilization of the products from our organic farm will be very advantageous.

The other position would be a guest manager / front of house role and requires a person with good co-ordination skills, able to multi-task and assist the general managers in all aspects of the lodge operations and management particularly relating to guests activities/ tours and guest service.  The position would involve, but not be limited to handling the reservations/communications with guest enquiries on e-mail, receiving of guests, assisting with the general operations and systems of the lodge, overseeing the housekeeping and maintenance teams when needed. Knowledge of Quickbooks is ideal.

The roles described are general and the duties can be filled by either candidate of the couple.

Any additional skills – i.e yoga instruction, spa or massage of either applicant would be an enormous advantage.

Both candidates must be completely fluent in English –both written and spoken. Spanish is advantageous. A DEEP-ROOTED PASSION FOR SERVICE EXCELLENCE IS ESSENTIAL.  An interest in nature and sustainable practices is also advantageous. 

Work Campers Needed - Bryson City, NC

We are located on Deep Creek in Bryson City, NC. We are situated approximately 1 mile from the Great Smoky Mountain National Park Deep Creek entrance and downtown Bryson City. We are a small, quiet campground with approximately 25 full hook-up RV sites.  We are looking for an experienced, honest, hard-working and outgoing couple to perform approximately 20-25 hours of work per week in exchange for a FHU site (Water, sewer, electric). Duties might include:

- Greeting and assisting our guests
- General landscape duties

- Renting inner tubes for tubing down Deep Creek
- Outside maintenance as required
