Cabin Resort Caretaker (Couple) - Watersmeet, MI

We are looking for a couple who love the outdoors to assist part-time (approximately 20 hours/week) in the management of a five cabin lakeside resort from mid-May to mid-October 2025. This would be a great position for retirees or persons working remotely.
Responsibilities include guest relations, cabin housekeeping between guests, routine maintenance and repairs, and upkeep of grounds.
Compensation rates are negotiable depending on your level of expertise.
Lodging is provided in a private, rustic, lakeside cabin in exchange for specified duties.

We are seeking a dedicated team to be onsite, live-in Storage Managers and oversee our Mini Warehouse operations. Tiberti Mini Storage is a self-storage facility in Las Vegas, NV, with a long and successful history. The Storage Managers will open and close the gates and be available in the on-site office per the hours indicated below.
The facility hosts a 1-bed 1-bath apartment for the Storage Managers, fully included with utilities as part of salary.
The position also offers up to 2 weeks paid vacation and bonus opportunities.
Pay: starts at $2,583.00 per month for a 2 person team taken together.
Duties
- Manage day-to-day operations of the storage facility
- Open gates at indicated gate hours (Mon-Sat: 6:00am to 7:30 pm. Sun: 8:00am to 7:30pm).
- Staff onsite office for indicated office hours (M-F 8:30am to 5:00pm. Sat: 9:00am to 12:00pm. Sun. and Holidays: closed.)
- Perform daily lock checks and patrol the facility.
- Clean and maintain lights
- Show, rent, and clean units
- make collection calls to late tenants
- process mailing of legal notices
- other miscellaneous tasks assigned by the property owner
Qualifications
- Preferred two years relevant experience
- Excellent customer service ability
- Basic computer literacy
- Must be able to pass a background check

Who we are: We are an association of less than 30 individually owned cabins located on approximately 3 acres beside a beautiful, remote alpine lake in the Fraser Valley.
Ideal candidate(s): This is an ideal position for a couple who love the wilderness, have no problem working on their own and enjoy doing some physical work. Good communication skills with English speaking and writing abilities are mandatory. The ability to handle and maintain tools, equipment and be physically fit is a must. You will need a 4x4 truck. You must agree to a criminal record check. You will be isolated in the winter.
Wage: Wage is negotiable; most expenses are covered and include:Your accommodation will be a cozy 2 storey cabin with a lakeview, complete with 2 generators for electricity, washer & dryer, propane appliances, propane lights and a back-up 12-volt system. The cabin is heated by wood fireplace requiring you to cut and stack your own wood. Wood splitter on-site.Telephone service 24/7. Basic TV channels and internet (wifi).
What you would do: -Provide perimeter security coverage and access control to ensure there is no unauthorized access to the site, providing a visual security presence.-Patrol designated areas in an outdoor environment and make daily security report journal entries to be sent electronically on a weekly basis to a board of directors (BOD consists of 6 elected association members). -Maintain water, septic and generator systems as required.
