Housekeeping Couple for Mountain Resort
Looking for energetic couple to maintain cleanliness of our beautiful, seasonal mountain resort located 8 miles West of Buena Vista, Colorado. Months of operation are May 26 - September 15.
Duties include cabin and house cleaning, daily trash collection and light maintenance. Other duties may be assigned by management. Housing allowance included.
Who we are looking for:
Couple (no children), Friendly, outgoing, and understands that customer service is expected at all time. We hold ourselves to the same policies as our guest we set for our guest including the "No Pet Policy",
Couple that hope to come back each summer with the possibility of moving up to the manager's job in a few years.
Responsibilities:
Start time is usually 9AM until around 3:30, although this can vary. Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday are the busy days therefore days off will be Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. A few times you will only have one day off but there will be time when you have three days off.
Main requirement is Cleaning Cabins with attention to detail and is required by both. Physically able to navigate stairs, lift vacuums etc.
Must be able to follow directions without supervision to complete jobs to our specifications.
Willingness to work as a team and help with other jobs if needed.
Housekeeping or janitorial experience a plus.
General labor and maintenance experience a plus.
Gift Shop and Office experience a plus.
Compensation:
$10.00 per hour for every hour worked 25 to 35 hours per week housekeeping and extra hours in grounds work, maintenance or office if you want additional hours.
Housing allowance of $600 per month.
End of season bonus $500.00 each with good work record.

A Work Camping Opportunity Working the Sugar Beet Harvest is a seasonal Work camping experience that starts approximately October 1st and is a 10-15 day working project. It can take the month of October to complete the 10-15 days of work if the region experiences unfavorable weather.
Please plan to commit for the whole month of October. Positions Include: • Helper/Sample Taker • Piler Operator • Skid steer Operator – this position is limited and based upon recent experience. Position Summary: The job requires the ability to lift, pull, and push a minimum of 25lbs. You must be able to stoop, bend, shovel, and climb around heavy equipment up to several times a shift. In addition, you must have the ability to be on your feet regularly. This includes walking on slippery and uneven surfaces.
This job requires the ability to preform essential job tasks in less than favorable conditions at times; which may include varying temperatures, humidity, wind and cold. Essential Functions: Duties include but are not limited to: Assisting the Piler Operator in cleaning and maintaining the Piling grounds, communicating with drivers to ensure safe and accurate unloading of trucks. Orchestrates repair work and supervises and assists in the cleanup of daily operations. You may also be asked to collect beet samples, or maneuver piling control switches. Planning: When you commit to working the Sugar Beet Harvest, we assign a Workamper Liaison to help you plan accordingly. A Harvest Liaison will be in contact with you every 30 – 45 days. As it starts nearing harvest, the Liaison will then give you a campground and district assignment, along with your office orientation date and time. During your office orientation you will finalize your application, watch a safety orientation video, and receive your piling site assignment. You will also be scheduled for training.
We provide: We provide you with campsite accommodations, that we pay for. We also provide you with water, honey wagon, and hookups. These are expenses that are included free of charge. Most of the campsites are in – or vey near – a town with gas and grocery. We make all your reservations ahead of time. Some campsites have Camp Hosts available to provide additional help for campers. This is an opportunity to make a substantial amount of money in a short amount of time, enjoy new experiences, and meet new friends along the way!

Our Motorcoach Resort is one of the newest motorcoach resorts in the Southeast, offering a piece of South Alabama’s most pristine landscapes within a short drive to the beautiful beaches of the Alabama Gulf Coast.
The Resort Host Couple will assist the development owner and the Resort Host Manager with the daily operation of the resort office and light housekeeping of the owner’s lodge and pool/grill area and ensure that lots are clean and ready for guests. In addition, escort and assist all guests with parking their motorcoaches on their lot upon arrival. Resort Host Couples work in exchange for full hookup (including water, electricity, sewer, & WIFI) plus free laundry. Resort Host Couple will be required to work a flexible schedule of 21 hours per week each (including weekends).
**A Class A Motorcoach less than 10 years old and 32 feet minimum length is required**
