Seeking a couple for campground office and maintenance - Tiffin, OH

We are immediately seeking  a highly qualified couple to work with us until the end of the season (Oct. 31) in our family, pet friendly campground.  Then return in the spring of 2021 to help prepare camp to open on May 1 until the end of the 2021 season, Oct. 31. Our scenic rural 52 acre park, with about 270 sites is located 7 miles from the nearest town of 20,000. If you like action and fun, then this camp is for you.

A WSE site will be provided and salary is negotiable.  If you would enjoy working in a well maintained camp with high moral and positive campers, then this opportunity is for you.   Four years ago, the camp was rescued from bankruptcy and has been resurrected. We love our campers and they love camp. 

Overall, we are seeking positive, honest, energetic, organized, and friendly fun loving folks (who do not talk politics with clients).  Each person  must be able to manage emotions and communicate in a way that does not escalate customers but builds relationships.  In addition, candidates must be in good physical and mental health, and clean legal records, such as no felonies.  A background check and drug test will be required prior to starting. To successfully perform job tasks, we are looking for two different skill sets. One skill set would lead and work with the office staff and pool staff, customer relations including communication skills (interpersonal, phone and computer),  manage reservations, activities and other duties. The second skill set would focus on maintenance including light plumbing & electrical, sewer plant and well water testing. Other duties include possible activities set up, guiding campers when parking, ensuring health department regulations are followed and other duties. Both positions would have the authority to ensure the camp is safe for all. Both positions are hands on.

Care Exchange - Dixon, NM

Seeking couple to provide land care and maintenance in exchange for basic housing and utilities.  We live on a small, organic orchard and lavender farm in Northern New Mexico, along a river valley.  

We are folks with health conditions and are needing extra support with responsibilities.  It is important to us that this exchange feel beneficial for everyone.

The ideal couple would have a variety of interests and skills in land care (watering, weeding, mowing, raking); cooking and organic gardening; general maintenance abilities; light housekeeping; enjoy natural surroundings and a serene lifestyle.

During spring, summer and early fall the needs would require approximately 20 hours/week and during late fall, winter and early spring, less than 10 hours/week. 

Weekly needs include:

• Land care, mowing, weeding and raking 
• Fruit tree and lavender care, including watering, pruning, weeding and harvesting
• Operating and maintaining watering system.
• General repairs and maintenance for buildings
• Upkeep of land health and property aesthetics 

Possible additional exchange - cooking healthy meals 3x week for groceries/board.
