Care Exchange - Dixon, NM

Seeking couple to provide land care and maintenance in exchange for basic housing and utilities.  We live on a small, organic orchard and lavender farm in Northern New Mexico, along a river valley.  

We are folks with health conditions and are needing extra support with responsibilities.  It is important to us that this exchange feel beneficial for everyone.

The ideal couple would have a variety of interests and skills in land care (watering, weeding, mowing, raking); cooking and organic gardening; general maintenance abilities; light housekeeping; enjoy natural surroundings and a serene lifestyle.

During spring, summer and early fall the needs would require approximately 20 hours/week and during late fall, winter and early spring, less than 10 hours/week. 

Weekly needs include:

• Land care, mowing, weeding and raking 
• Fruit tree and lavender care, including watering, pruning, weeding and harvesting
• Operating and maintaining watering system.
• General repairs and maintenance for buildings
• Upkeep of land health and property aesthetics 

Possible additional exchange - cooking healthy meals 3x week for groceries/board.  

Perks include living in a beautiful river valley;  all the apples, pears and grapes you can eat; serenity; space to grow food/garden.  

1 hour drive to Santa Fe, 30 minutes to Taos.
