Are you seeking a quieter life in the heart of the Brokoff Mountains Wilderness and edge of the Carlsbad Caverns National Park? Our client owns 50,000 acres and has homes in the beautiful and lush valley areas of this region. In addition to defined gardens and orchards, there are six homes on the property. The ranch portion of the estate includes registered longhorns, horses, multiple barns, underground aquifers, and alfalfa hay production. The ranch and homes are used only by the family and their guests -- not as a business for vacation rentals.
Our client is looking for a Caretaker Couple to tend to their six homes and surrounding grounds (approximately 5 acres). This is an exceptional long-term, full-time job opportunity for a married couple (with grown or no children) seeking quiet enjoyment and honest work. The ideal Caretaker Couple will take the utmost pride in the upkeep of the homes and landscaping year-round. The property is located 40 miles from central Carlsbad. The Caretaker Couple position reports to Co-Ranch Managers.
What Is Offered:
This opportunity offers a base salary, plus an unfurnished cottage, paid utilities, and a vehicle for work use. The cottage is a one bedroom with large living and kitchen area, 1 & ½ bath, mudroom, wrap around porch, large shade trees, a fenced dog run, and exterior storage. Our client is also offering relocation assistance.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
The ideal Caretaker Couple will have a solid work history in housekeeping and lawn maintenance at a ranch or large estate. The primary responsibilities are to keep the homes and grounds at guest ready level throughout the year and to assist the owner’s with special assignments during their tenure at the ranch. The Caretaker position requires a couple with the ability to work independently, identify problems, and find solutions.
Housekeeping:
- Provide immaculate housekeeping for six homes of varying sizes.
- Coordinate with owners regarding grocery needs. Shop for food and supplies.
- Special housekeeping and home organizing projects.
Groundskeeping:
- Total lawn maintenance and pest control for 5 acres surrounding guest homes.
- Orchard care.
- Tidying of grounds and sidewalks.
- Keep fire and barbeque pits maintained and ready for use.
- General maintenance and troubleshooting for the houses.
- Maintain/service of the owner’s vehicles, work vehicles, mowers, and four-wheelers.
- Special groundskeeping and maintenance projects.
Housekeeping Couple - Yuma, AZ

Arizona: One of our couples had to cancel and we need an enthusiastic seasonal Workamper Couple to spend the “winter” in beautiful, warm, sunny Southwest Arizona from October 1, 2020 to April 15, 2021 cleaning the clubhouse, laundry, bathrooms/showers, office, craft hall and pool hall.
Two couples work each shift working 15 hours each per week for: FHU site, use of a golf cart, use of all park amenities, some meals, dances and ample time off to site see and enjoy the local attractions. Our workampers have said this is the easiest and most enjoyable job they have ever had.
Workcamper Couple Campground - Jonesville, NC

Our RV Park is accepting resumes/work summary for an experienced workamping couple. We are looking for Mid-September to Spring 2021. We have an experienced couple on-site now and the are amazing. We want to find another couple to compliment them. It needs to be a couple, as we are filling two positions (working together), and only one site available. 15 hours each for site weekly to cover the site value, we offer FHU site, utilities, and WIFI. Any hours over 15 are paid at $12 per hour and up to 25 hours max. Office hours are 9am-6pm. Duties include: Office, Keep grounds clean (sticks/trash), Lawn-care, Clean sites after check-in, Clean Bathhouse, Customer Service, Answer Phones, Book Reservations when needed (most are done online by the consumer), Cruise the park to make sure guest are happy, and any other host duties.
There are lots of local attractions including downtown Elkin, hiking trails, wineries, and river fun. RV Park Assistant Managers - Redlands, CA

My wife and I manage an RV park in Redlands. As managers, we get to live in a small, 2 bedroom home on the property without paying utilities or rent. On top of that we get a salary. My wife runs the office and I take care of the grounds.
