Responsibilities:
- Live on-site in a Boys Town Family Home and provide direct care for 6-8 at-risk youth through creating a safe and loving family-style living environment
- Provide emotional support utilizing praise, positive feedback, affection and empathy to build one’s self-confidence and respect
- Use rational problem-solving techniques to teach youth critical thinking skills, assist with behavioral problems, counsel through personal issues and provide crisis intervention
- Plan, participate and provide opportunities for individual and family activities that are both educational and entertaining
- Display and teach parenting, family and relationship skills to youth, legal guardians and caretakers to create family engagement
- Maintain contact with both internal and external consumers agencies to obtain or provide information regarding youth’s behaviors, strategies and progress
- Prepare written records for household budgeting, tracking youth progress, reporting incidents/behaviors and document youth medical needs and appointments
- Teach and role model Boys Town values and ethical behaviors, as well as support and encourage participation in regular religious activities
- Supervise the activities of assigned Assistant Family-Teacher to aid in their development and success
- Manage the daily operating schedule of the home; assist with youth transportation needs, and overall household upkeep

Required Qualifications:
- Be at least 21 years of age or older
- High School diploma or equivalent is required, some college credit is preferred
- Must possess a valid marriage certificate
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record and ability to pass MVR Check
- Flexibility and willingness to work a wide array of hours, which includes days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to pass a thorough background check and reference verification procedure in order to determine one’s fitness to satisfactorily and safely care for youth
- Ability to attend a 2-week paid training in Omaha, Nebraska

Live In Domestic Couple – Housekeeper and General Maintenance/Handyman Staffordshire UK

Great role for a housekeeper and general maintenance domestic couple to run a lovely country home for a professional family
This is a fabulous job for a fabulous domestic couple!! The role will be to work for a HNW British family who have a beautiful home in the Stafford area of Staffordshire. This is a country estate but London is only 1 hour 20 minutes away from the local station. The Principals travel quite a lot of the time and in total will spend approximately half of the year in this home. There are other staff at the house including security staff, gardeners, and two other housekeepers to help. No childcare is required with this job.
On a daily basis there will be the 'usual' duties which will include;
For the housekeeper part of the couple - You will need to be ‘hands on’ to include housekeeping to the highest level including the care of special surfaces, greeting guests, changing beds and other household linen, laundry and ironing including designer clothing when the family are in residence, packing and unpacking suitcases, household shopping, making up of the main bedroom suite and guest rooms, and it would be appreciated if you could make a simple breakfast/lunch/supper if needed. There are two other cleaners/housekeepers who come in to help you.
The other half of the couple will be responsible for a wide range of duties to include all general maintenance of the house, some driving the principal when needed and keeping the cars clean and in good order, keeping the area around the house clean and tidy, recycling, running errands and shopping, helping the security team and gardeners if required, and anything else that comes along to make sure that the house is running well. It is essential that this person is an experienced driver.
You may be asked if need to go one of the Principals other homes on occasion, usually to help prepare for their arrival.
There is a Private PA who will liaise with you regarding the family's diary and arrangements for guests etc.
It is essential that you have worked as a domestic couple in a similar role in a top level private residence for at least two years with suitable references. Couples who have been Chalet Hosts or Yacht crew will also be considered. You will both need to speak and write good English, you will need to energetic, well presented, and able to organise your own work and your own day. This is a role for a couple who are pro active and can work with the minimum of supervision.
The family use this home on a part time basis. Therefore will need to be flexible with your time - when they in residence you will need to be happy to work at the days and times you are needed, when the family are not in residence then you can take time off - although the family never abuse this and are understanding about needing your own days off. There will be very busy times, and times that are not so busy. Your accommodation will be your own self contained home in the grounds of the estate, which has its own garden, 2 bedrooms, and separate entrance – sorry no pets or children. Salary is negotiable and generous for a great couple!

This COUPLE/TEAM or INDIVIDUAL must bring an RV, trailer, or horse trailer w/ living quarters to live in for the duration of their employment OR be located within a commutable distance of R-Ranch at the Lake.
We are located 30 minutes from Downtown Napa, California, in the rolling hills around Lake Berryessa. There are 1093 acres of wooded trails, campsites, cabins, stable facilities, and Napa County’s largest pool.

**Wrangler Requirements:**
• At least 21 years old.

• Must be able to walk more than one horse at a time.
• Must be able to ride a horse even when "it doesn't want to go."
• Ability to tack a horse in western tack without help
• Ambitious, hardworking, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Familiar with riding in rough terrain, have a good sense of direction, and experience with novice riders.
• 2 Years experience handling horses
• 2 Years experience in customer service positions.
• Able to lift 80 pounds
**Wrangler Responsibilities Include:**
• Guide guests on trail rides, arena rides and aid in gymkhana events.
• Give guests instruction in basic horsemanship, riding lessons and horse care.
• Interact with guests to make each ride safe, educational, and fun.
• Daily feeding and caring of horses.
• Memorize the name, look, and attitude of 50 horses.
• Match horses to guests to fit their skill level, experience, and size.
• Perform tack maintenance as necessary ensuring all is safe and in good working order.
• Maintaining facilities, corrals, arena, trails, grounds.
• Trail maintenance, fencing and general ranch chores.
• Maintaining and alerting supervisor when vehicles and ranch equipment are broken.
