Position Overview:
As the Onsite Managers for Condon Motel, you and your partner will live on-site in a fully equipped 2-bedroom residence that includes a living room, kitchen, office space, and an attached laundry room with convenient inside access. This position offers a combination of responsibility, privacy, and the opportunity to be part of a small but vibrant town.
Key Responsibilities:
- Housekeeping & Laundry: Maintain high standards of cleanliness for all guest rooms, including overseeing laundry services.
- Guest Services: Check guests in and out, provide exceptional customer service, and handle guest concerns or requests promptly and professionally.
- Bookings & Reservations: Manage reservations, cancellations, and occupancy levels to ensure a full house during the busy season.
- Property Maintenance: Handle day-to-day maintenance, making sure the motel is clean, functional, and well-maintained at all times.
- Financial Management: Manage daily bookkeeping, including invoicing, payments, and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Marketing & Promotion: Assist in promoting the motel and increasing bookings, especially during the off-season months (November to April).
Onsite Living:
This position comes with an attached residence that includes:
- 2 Bedrooms
- Living Room
- Kitchen
- Office space (accessed directly from the inside of the residence)
- Laundry Room (also accessed from inside)
Requirements:
- Prior hotel/motel management experience is preferred but not required.
- Must be a couple willing to share responsibilities.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
- Comfortable working with minimal supervision.
- High attention to detail and pride in the quality of work.
- Flexibility with hours, including weekends and holidays, especially during peak seasons.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check.
Salary:

A friendly demeanour with a positive attitude towards teamwork and collaboration.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
