As caretakers, you will be responsible for maintaining the lawn and gardens using equipment such as a riding mower, weed eater, and chainsaw. The property also features extensive gardens that require vigorous weeding, so we are looking for candidates who are physically fit and able to perform these tasks to our high standards.
The dozen buildings on the property include a 100-year-old farmhouse, barn, and small cabins, which will also require your attention for maintenance and upkeep.
Our property offers a comfortable living arrangement for our caretaker couple. Accommodations include a cozy one bedroom cabin, which provides a perfect home base for those seeking a peaceful and private lifestyle. We understand that pets are an important part of your family, and as such, well-behaved pets are allowed on the premises.
In return for your hard work, we offer a competitive salary, on-site housing, and a flexible schedule. Any work above 80 hours per month will be compensated at an hourly rate.
Please note that the owner does not live on-site and the caretaker couple must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Looking for Friendly, Energetic, Extremely Dependable Seasonal Work Campers - Santa Fe, NM

An adult only park in beautiful Santa Fe, New Mexico, is currently looking for friendly, energetic, extremely dependable seasonal work campers starting on/or about April 15, 2023 and ending on/or about October 31, 2023 OR full-time year-round starting as soon as possible. Trailer Ranch is a very popular RV park in the heart of historic Santa Fe, with 60 overnight RV sites plus 65 permanent tenants.
Available Shifts:
Due to the age demographic our park, you must be fully Covid19 vaccinated.
(1) Couples who will work together to do Inside and Outside duties. Each person to work 4 days on (approx. 8-hour days), 3 days off. Compensation includes salary of $900/month/person plus full hook-up site. More workdays are available if desired.
(2) Couples or Individuals to do Inside and Outside duties. Each person to work 3 days on (approx. 8-hour days), 4 days off. Compensation includes salary of $550/month/person plus full hook-up site.
Typical INSIDE office duties include:
*Check in arriving guests
*Take reservations via email and phone
*Assist customers with questions about the park and Santa Fe tourism
*Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
*General administrative duties
*Clean and general upkeep of office
*Other duties as assigned
*Experience with Campground Master reservation software preferred
Typical OUTSIDE maintenance duties include:
*Assist guests with parking RVs into assigned sites
*Bath house cleaning
*General grounds maintenance
*Painting, light electrical and plumbing
*Pool maintenance
*Other duties as assigned
Santa Fe is located at 7200 feet above sea level so you must be in good health in order to perform the tasks required. We are looking for individuals and couples for who expect to be very busy during their shifts, are easy going and can get along with all types of people as well as being flexible and willing to provide excellent customer service. We find we have the most success with managing the customer’s expectations prior to their arrival and we train you to have the skills specific to our park and thus ensuring your success as a team player without the need to be micromanaged.

We realize that a move in order to live and work someplace new is expensive and so we offer some help in the form of a $500 bonus to assist with gas/travel expenses. Paid out after one month employment.
Individuals who have outdoor interests like hiking, photography and beach combing will appreciate the quiet 'down time' this also affords..as well as 'indoor' pastimes like crafting, art, reading...during the darker longer evenings.

LENGTH Of COMMITMENT: This is a seasonal job. This season runs until January 1, 2024. We ask for a two season commitment.
We close for approx six to eight weeks each year (Jan - mid Feb) During the close down staff are furlowed and can apply for unemployment. During this time we do not charge rent as long as you return for the following season.
Specific areas: Daily cleaning and upkeep of:
- Yurts and other Accommodations
- Restrooms
- Deep cleaning Yurts & Restrooms
- Restocking, organizing supplies
- Manage recycling station
- Laundry area includes processing all linens, folding, spotting, and oranizing cleaning supplies
- Dish center, processing breakfast & dinner dishes
Must be willing to:
- Work outdoors in all types of weather and inside units that can get hot inside depending on season
- Stand on concrete kithcen floor for 5-6 hour shifts when assisting in Dish Area or Laundry.
- Lift up to 25 lb, using proper bending and lifting techniques
- Lift & carry vacuums, trash cans, brooms, ladders, bags of linen, caddies of supplies, bus trays full of dishes
- Walk up and down many stairs in a day and navigate hilly pathways
- Will be trained to drive a golf carts
You will each be scheduled to work four or five consecutive days, shifts about 5-8 hours per day depending on the shift assigned. At least one of your days off will be the same day together...we attempt to give both days off together for a couple but sometimes it may not be possible right from the beginning.
Your daily schedule may not be 'synchromized' all days:...meaning one person may work AM shifts some of the time..the other might be scheduled to do some PM shifts...we try to have shifts line up as much as possible
Must have reliable transportation.
Compensation: $16.00/hour with all utilites inc except personal wifi.
Housing: Two Units available.
- One is a unique tiny home, that includes queen bed, full kitchen, private shower & restroom. ($500/month)
- We also have a brand new RV with pop out, TV, full bath, ensuite bedroom. Housing cost is $/per month, per couple, inc all utilites. ($350/month)
Most cell phones do not work here! There is an office phone for quick calls and a payphone outside the lodge. Wifi is limited, (TIP: most of our full time, long term staff purchase Starlink for internet).
NO pets, sorry!
No Children, Housing is not able to accommodate children...it is workforce housing, meaning everyone living here must be employed and working. Please do not apply with children.

Compensation includes FHU/ RV space plus hourly pay. Roles for both couples are part time. We schedule couples to work on the same days and it is a set schedule which allows you to plan around your days off.
