UPMC Senior Communities is currently seeking candidates for a couple for full-time Assistant Resident Manager positions for our Strabane Trails Village location in Washington, Pa.
In coordination with and under the direction of the resident managers, manage all aspects of the operation of the facility, manage all programs and work between the various departments. This position will require you to work every other week, 7 days on and then 7 days off (rotating with another couple). You will live on-site (apartment provided) when working at the facility. Will work 7:30am to 7:30 pm and be on call for emergencies from 7:30 pm to 7:30 am. Couples only will be considered for the position. Both members of the couple must apply.

Self Storage Facility Manager Team - Rancho Cucumonga, CA

Self storage has an immediate opening for a resident manager TEAM for our Rancho Cucamonga California facility. We are seeking a 2 person team, wherein each person will work full time. The ideal Team will have have prior self storage or property management experience. Maintenance experience a plus. Resident manager teams are responsible for the operation of the facility, including providing outstanding customer service, renting storage spaces, marketing our facility to the community, data entry, filing, answering and responding to telephone calls, banking, and keeping the facility maintained, neat, clean, and organized. Reliable transportation and a good driving record is required. Prior customer service and management experience is required. Must be friendly and outgoing, honest, organized, able to accept constructive criticism, able to learn and accept training, able to work in an office and on the grounds standing, stooping, lifting, pushing a broom, etc, and be a problem solver. Basic computer skill (MS Office, Outlook, internet, etc.) is required.

Caretaker/ Onsite Manager Couple - Shasta Lake, CA

We are looking for a live-in manager/care taking couple for our under construction but still doing business resort located in the Sacramento arm of Shasta Lake. (Lakehead area)
Duties include: (but not limited too)
* Preparing cabins to rental ready condition.
* Cleaning of the guest cabins, bathrooms, kitchen and living room when guests have checked out.
* Lawn and property maintenance (mowing, weed whipping, weeding, watering)
* Welcoming and hosting guests. Organizing group trips of local areas is a possibility.
The Manager/care taking team will live on-site in a two-bedroom cabin (furnished or unfurnished) which has a kitchen and full bathroom, also is cable TV and wireless internet ready.
Compensation is room & utilities; and 10% of gross earnings when cabins are rented plus $25 cleaning fee per cabin per turnaround is yours to keep.
Weekend and morning hours are required sometimes necessary during the busy season or when cabins are rented. The summer season starts in May and ends around Labor Day in September.
* Cabin cleaning depends on guest check-out time (usually by 12:00 P.M.) and takes up to 1 1/2 hours per 1 bedroom cabin and 2 hours per 2-bedroom cabins (We have 5 - 2 bedroom and 4 – 1 bedroom guest cabins.)
* Reservation are taken in the main office but organized onsite management is required. You will have some phone calls about lake level and all calls should be answered right away or return calls ASAP.
* Cleaning of the common areas as well of facilities maintenance is on-going after all other tasks have been complete.
* During busy season (Memorial Day through Labor Day weekends) the Manager(s) would be on call through the day and evening for guests needs and greets new guests upon their arrival. During off season the Managers are responsible for occasional (off-season) guests’ needs, maintenance of the property against harsh weather conditions and routine maintenance. As this is a couple’s team concept it’s is acceptable to have one of the caretakers in a full time or part time job ideally flexible enough to help out as needed during the busy season. As an example a couple with one partner working as a teacher, with summers off, would be an ideal working situation for this job.
The ideal couple would have some variance of property management, carpentry, some hotel/resort hospitality, electrical and/or plumbing experience.
