Live-In Property Managers for 2 Studios on the Big Island of Hawaii.
WHY DO WE SHOW EXPIRED LISTINGS?
If you LOVE people, like to keep things clean and organized, and dreamed of actually having the time to enjoy the Big Island of Hawaii, then this might just be for you. We have an opening coming up for a mature couple to manage The Keaau Place. Built in 2007, the main house is a 2 bedroom/1bath air conditioned residence where the caretakers would reside. In addition, there are 2 studios that are rented out short-term. Please look over our website. The main house is fully furnished and stocked. One of the two bedrooms is kept as a guest room for the owner (who runs a Christian B&B on Maui), and comes over to the Big Island at least twice a year to help with the 'deep cleaning' of the property.
You will need to have a computer to check when the studios will be checking in and out, but all bookings and paperwork for the studios is handled on Maui at our main office. On average, each of the studios book between 5 to 7 times each month. Guests receive a door code prior to their arrival, as they usually check themselves in and out.
Duties include cleaning, light maintenance, shopping, yard care, and being happy! The studios need to be cleaned immediately after each check out, as most bookings are 'back to back.' Ideally, this would be a great situation for someone that works from home, like the current caretaker who is an accountant (her husband works in town). You also must have your own vehicle and medical insurance. Send pictures and an informal resume. I care more about you as people, so beside including what you can "do" and where you have worked, please include what you like and tell me about your expectations. Sorry, but we do not have the living accommodations for kids or pets.
The property is a non-smoking facility. Staff may be subject to random drug tests. There is no monetary compensation.
Mahalo for considering this position! and remember to send a picture and resume to even be considered.
