Successful applicants for this position must have two team members applying together, and must have strong customer service or sales skills with combination of experience in a retail, customer service, leasing, administrative office environment or building/grounds maintenance. Teams must be organized and able to work independently. This opening includes the responsibilities of leasing storage units, selling boxes and packing supplies, answering telephone calls, making collections calls, collecting rent, maintaining accurate records, maintaining the physical building and grounds, and overseeing one part-time or full-time assistant. The hours of the position are daytime hours and include weekend hours, working 5 days per week from the business hours indicated below. Both members of team must be comfortable using a computer and working with customers. Applicants must have a vehicle.
Business hours for this location are:
9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., Monday - Friday
9:00 a..m. - 5:00 p.m. Saturday
10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Sunday
Compensation package includes: wage, residence in on-site apartment (rent and utilities paid as part of compensation), benefits and incentives. Salary is dependent on experience and property size.
Storage Management Couples - TX

• Maximizing rental income through learned revenue optimization techniques
• Controlling operating expenses through judicious spending and sensible utility usage per Market standards
• Performing ongoing local area marketing to increase traffic
• Tracking marketing leads to optimize future marketing efforts
• Organizing marketing events to promote your property
• Preparing units for auction prescribed by law and approved by management
• Effectively communicating with management and fellow team members
• Maintaining property appearance and cleanliness including minor maintenance, removing trash, debris, cigarette butts, nails, broken glass, screws etc.
• Performing daily lock checks and security checks
Ideal candidates will have:
• Current Driver's License and Legal Resident/Citizen
• Microsoft Office applications required
• Prior self-storage experience, preferred but not required
• Required to relocate to Dallas/Ft Worth area and live on property
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• 15 plus years’ experience in any or all of these categories: Customer service, retail sales, marketing, general office and telephone skills a plus
• Experience doing minor repairs, painting etc
• Reliable transportation
• Physically able to lift 50 pounds and spend extended periods of time outdoors

Innkeeping Couple Needed - Eastern VA
WHY DO WE SHOW EXPIRED LISTINGS?
We are looking for managers for our small but extremely well-kept green/eco-friendly lodging.
While inn-keeping experience is not necessarily required, you must have a good phone etiquette. Able to communicate well with the public and the desire to maintain the property as you would your own home. We would be more than happy to train the right couple who are looking to make a career of inn-keeping but would also welcome seasoned professionals.
An on-site apartment is provided including all utilities, cable TV, internet and phone.
This is a full time position for both of you, there is one day off per week, that you will enjoy together.
Duties include:- front desk duties, housekeeping, laundry, light maintenance, grounds-keeping (riding mower) pruning, weed-wacking.
This property is not pet friendly and employee smoking is not allowed. We are also unable to accept couples with children (at home) at this time.
Initial interviews can be held via phone but the final interview will be required on the property in Eastern Virginia. Background checks will be conducted also.
