The Simsbury 1820 House in Simsbury Connecticut is a 34-Room historic mansion seeks enthusiastic experienced live-in innkeeper (Individuals and Couples will be considered) to operate (24 hours/day) front office, registration, reservations, concierge, sales, light back-up housekeeping, continental breakfast set-up, computer/audit reporting.

Duties include onsite management of guests' experience, guest check-in/out, record keeping, maintenance, housekeeping and marketing of the property, everyday repairs, and general support with growing the business.

 Qualifications:
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Experience in the hospitality industry required (Preferably in Innkeeping).

Limited Service 36 unit Inn (motel) located on the San Francisco Peninsula.

This is a relief position of 6 days per month, plus an additional week or two during the year.  Work schedule is flexible and can be arranged for convenience, in either (2) 3-consecutive day shifts, or (1) 6-consectutive days shift per month. 

Position requires a mutually supportive and energetic 2-person team working together on the premises, during the consecutive shifts.  Couple with strong face to face customer service and/or hospitality experience preferred.  Computer literacy and hotel software experience is a plus.  Responsible for typical hotel front desk operations, as well as overseeing employees.

Ensure apartments are clean, repaired, and ready to rent.  Show vacant units to prospective renters and complete rental paperwork.  Promptly act on tenant requests for maintenance/repairs, keep grounds clean and maintain building cleanliness, collect rents, issue late payment notices, perform landscaping and cut grass, perform snow removal, make sure common areas are clean (stair railings, hallways, laundry room).  Assist in rehab of units, and schedule and supervise services of third party contractors.  Couple required.  Understanding of landlord/tenant laws desired.  Compensation Includes a Three (3) bedroom/ Two and 1/2 (2 1/2)  bath Townhome.
