This is a live-in full time opportunity for a capable and semi-formal couple to work for a wonderfully engaging family, maintaining a secondary residence, where they rarely spend time. Embassy experience is a plus. Portuguese or English are preferred languages.

This family spends most of their time at their primary residence out of the country. This live in couple will primarily work and live at the CT residence, Couple must make this CT home their primary residence.

The CT home requires diligent oversight and ongoing maintenance. This is a beautiful large home, fully renovated, that requires ongoing housekeeping and attention to details and pro-active services. Continuous house cleaning and upkeep is expected at all times. You will actively communicate and supervise vendors, including landscaping, repairs, pool, appliances, HVAC, etc.

Need to have where-with-all to address any and all situations that may arise in the home and throughout the property at all times.

When the principals are in residence, proper service etiquette is required at all times. The Principal will then supplement with extra maids. The couple will provide food and drink service, assist with grown children, operate/maintain kitchen and act as service staff for entertaining.

· Maintain overall cleanliness of a large home according to formal standards

· Laundering skills, including pressing fine bed linens

· Healthy and delicious cooking skills (gourmet chef not required)

· Formal table setting and serving skills are necessary

· Nice to have flower and decorating arrangement talents

· Outdoor entertainment support including pool and BBQ.

· Chauffeur to events and activities as needed

· Greeting guests, answering phones and taking clear messages

· Food and supply shopping as well as other errands as needed

· Oversee vendors and contractors

· Care and love to four small dogs

Both candidates must have a minimum of 7-10 years previous experience in a semi-formal or formal home, good verbal English communication skills, sense of boundaries and discretion.

When the Principals are in residence, service hours are later in day and evening- per Brazil style of living.

Home is located 15 minutes from downtown Greenwich, CT. Schools are among best in the U.S.

A background check will be performed and excellent references are required.

Assistant Manager, housekeeping and general maintenance - Gunnison, CO

Our Motel in Gunnison, Colorado is seeking up to two couples for the 2017 summer season (May to November.) We are seeking folks who can help with front desk, housekeeping, staff supervision, maintenance or carpentry (a couple of remodels planned.) We would want individuals who can commit to approximately 20 hours a week.

We are a small (currently 17 units) retro lodging property located on three acres with easy access to downtown and fishing, hiking and mountain biking.

We are highly rate on Trip Advisor. It is important to us that employees are willing to work to a high standard.

We have two RV sites, provide full hook-ups and wages. Alternatively, we could provide housing (not suitable for a family), utilities and wages. Wages based on experience. Island Acres is located in the middle of a very nice neighborhood. The location will be quiet, and the neighbors are very friendly.

While our season is from May 1 to mid November with our busiest time from mid-June to mid-August.

This is a perfect job for someone who is looking for a way to spend the time in Gunnison and yet still have plenty of time to enjoy all area.
