An experienced live-in domestic couple (a butler and a cook/housekeeper) is needed for a traditional English Country House (11 bedrooms) to take care of the property. The property is used by the Principals on weekends. 

Duties and responsibilities

Butler responsibilities

• Greeting guests 
• Serving meals (3 times/day)
• Serving drinks and tea
• Ensuring the work of systems in the house
• General household management 
• Running errands 
• Assisting in arranging special occasions 

Cook / Housekeeper responsibilities

• Cook simple English meals (healthy) 3 times/day 
• Cook dinner (for up to 12 people) when guests visiting 
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the house
• Laundry 
• Ironing 
• Wardrobe management 

Other responsibilities

• Taking care of a Principals’ dog 
• Shopping
• House security (locking up & putting alarms on each night)

Requirements
 

• 3 years' experience
• Working experience in traditional English country house
• Knowledge of traditional English service
• Fluent English
• UK Driving License
• Calm, flexible and able to multi-task

Schedule
5 days/week (Thursday to Monday)
Flexible hours (up to 12 hours/day)

This is a full time permanent position. The couple will reside in a detached cottage house (furnished or unfurnished) within the territory of the residence. Bills included.

Our property is a multi-award Inn and a Diamond Collection and Select Registry member. We are seeking a self-motivated, mature, well-groomed couple who enthusiastically anticipate and meet guests’ high expectations. 

This is a full-time, year-round, hands-on position to oversee all aspects of day-to-day operation of the inn, including, but not limited to reservations, guest check-in and check-out, concierge services, preparation of hot, gourmet breakfasts, scheduling and overseeing of housekeeping staff, inventory of and shopping for all supplies, along with maintenance and upkeep of the inn and grounds.  Accomplished, creative culinary skills and a passion for food a must, and Food Handler/Safe Serve Certification, mechanical aptitude and hot tub operation a plus.   Applicants must be physically fit (able to carry 35-40 lbs. up and down stairs), computer literate, and possess a positive attitude and desire to provide the ultimate in guest service, as well handling guests’ concerns and emergencies, providing resolutions in a professional manner.  Must be team players who embrace our goal to continue to create a romantic, unforgettable experience for our guests.

Assistant Managers – Retired Husband & Wife Couple for Senior Manufactured Home Park (Weslaco, TX) Compensation: $850.00 per month, plus sales commissions, with Housing, Furniture and Utilities provided.

Texas based Senior Manufactured Home Park is seeking a full-time, highly motivated, Assistant Manager Senior Couple to join our growing team in our Weslaco, TX location. The Community Assistant Manager Couple must qualify to live in the park (age 55+). They are to assist the park Manager Couple in overseeing and enhancing the value of the property, and work with fellow team members to sell homes and lease lots within the community. This position will work closely with our Park Manager Couple in all aspects of park care & maintenance.

These are working Assistant Manager positions, and have a month of vacation to be taken all or in largest part during the summer season. We have about 100 residents in the park year around, which balloons to around 800 residents during the winter season. We offer professional management and deliver our residents an affordable home environment to enjoy retirement. Primary Husband Responsibilities: - Sharing of “On Call” after hours duties with the park Manager - Fill in for the park Manager when he is out of the park - Read water and electric meters and report to the office for processing of bills - Assist Manager in day to day operations, upkeep of a manufactured housing community

Primary Wife Responsibilities: - Supervise and assist the office staff, with phone calls and front desk duties, mail, etc. - Process bills for payment - Maintain files, rental availability spreadsheet and payroll records Sales and Marketing (Both): After TDHCA class and exam - Assist Sales Manager in all phases of both the new and used home sales process - Assist Park Manager in staging and repairing select homes on property for sale and lease

Someone who isn't going to whine because it's raining or snowing. The dogs here get the same care rain or shine. You put on your boots and get it done because you know they deserve it. We take care of dogs for families going through tough times - military deployed, students, charity and relief workers. It is our honor to make sure their fur baby is the last thing they have to worry about. A positive attitude is required for this job and you must be able to complete task within a timely routine.
