Job Responsibilities Summary:
Responsible for working with the assigned team in the provision of direct daily care to the residents of Boys Ranch and to provide for the health, safety and well-being of each child in their care. Builds and maintains healthy, positive relationships with each resident and team member and responsible for providing care driven by the Model of Leadership and Service. Maintains management of the home, performs home budget and money management duties to ensure good stewardship and efficiency of resource use.

Maintenance Technician and Guest Services Specialist - Lovell, WY

Our Lodge is seeking an energetic, hard-working and positive couple to fill the roles of Maintenance Technician and Guest Services Specialist. The ideal candidates will work well together and with other staff, share accommodations, wear many hats and think on their feet. They should love being where seasonal visitors number in the hundreds not millions and enjoy delighting guests whether they are on a day trip or a week-long stay on ATVs or snowmobiles.
We are located in a true mountain paradise, perfectly suited to someone who loves the outdoors. During free time in the winter, there is snow shoeing, x-country skiing, and snowmobiling. Sitting by the fire in our great room is also nice during your time off. During free time in the summer, there are endless hiking trails around the lodge, beautiful waterfalls, wildlife viewing opportunities, and lots of places to fish and take amazing photos. We are located at 9,000 feet in elevation and the closest town is about 30 miles away from the Lodge, so we are truly a remote destination within the Bighorn National Forest.
The Maintenance Technician at the Lodge has a variety of duties shared by all staff members. These duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Cheerfully greeting and serving guests, answering questions, and focused on making our guest’s experience excellent in every way
- Performing maintenance on all facilities including but not limited to: plumbing, electrical, painting, landscaping, building exterior repairs, carpentry, and HVAC
- Operating heavy equipment used to clear snow, maintain resort grounds, and facilitate access to the resort.
- Maintaining buildings and equipment, performing minor maintenance as needed
- Cutting/splitting firewood as needed
- Disposing of garbage
- Observes all rules and regulations including Fire Safety, Security, Life Safety, and Health & Safety.
- Purchasing equipment or supplies for maintenance projects.
The Guest Services Specialist at the Lodge has a variety of duties shared by all staff members. These duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Cheerfully greeting and serving guests, answering questions, and focused on making our guest’s experience excellent in every way
- Cleaning lodge, kitchen (including dishes), guest rooms, cabins and maintaining clean linens
- Planning for guests via reservation data from reservation software (ResNexus)
- Collecting payments for services and goods, basic record keeping
- Understanding and meeting operational requirements of USFS Special Use Permit
- Managing controllable costs
- Assisting customers with emergencies and other issues as needed
In addition to the above responsibilities, successful applicants should have the following qualifications:
• Previous hospitality and guest hosting experience
• Good physical condition; experienced living and working in remote locations
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be over 21, hold a valid Driver's License, and able to lift 50 lbs
• Non-smoker, no pot or drugs of any kind. Light drinker is OK
We have 6 guest rooms in the Lodge, three small cabins, one large cabin and a duplex for rent to the public, and will normally accommodate up to 32 guests. Our staff are required to work as a team with other Lodge employees.
Couple to manage a Rural Hotel - Arriondas, Spain

Are you looking for an adventure in a beautiful corner of the world? We are looking for a working COUPLE to help manage our 12 bedroom rural hotel and restaurant close to the mountains and the sea. It is a seasonal position that will run from mid-March to mid-October 2024.
Tasks
The jobs main focus is to ensure all visitors have a pleasant and warm experience and guests relations is of utmost importance. The clientele is mostly international nature lovers who visit the establishment a base to explore and hike. The job entails managing reservations, check-ins ans check-outs, preparing and serving buffet breakfasts, assisting with service during dinner, laundry drop off and pick up and grocery shopping, helping to maintain the property (including the vegetable garden), managing the chef and cleaners and interacting with guests (including giving advice).
Requirements
Fluency in English with a good level of Spanish. At least two years experience in the hotel industry, preferably in a management role. Experience working in a restaurant/ industrial kitchen. International/Spanish drivers licence. Relevant paperwork to work in Spain. The relevant couple is self motivated and can take initiative, with a love for adventure and good communication skills. Own vehicle (for private use) is recommended.
