Seasoned Domestic Couple in the Hamptons - Long Island, NY

An estate owner is looking for an excellent and highly experienced domestic couple to join their Hamptons home and work under the Estate Manager. The couple must be willing to occasionally travel to the family's other home in Manhattan.

The couple must have worked together recently, for over five years, and want to stay with this job long-term. This is a hands-on position. One candidate must love to garden, drive, run errands and be able to manoeuvre heavy objects around the home. Another must have great, full-charge housekeeping skills and be eager to pitch in wherever more help is needed. Cleaning duties include dusting, vacuuming, organizing, polishing, laundry and pressing. Other duties include keeping the pantry stocked and keeping grocery/supplies lists.

Responsibilities include:

Host: Reservations, guest check in and check out, basic book keeping, social media, marketing, supervision of housekeeping and landscaping staff, overseeing of daily maintenance projects and repair work, arranging of add on services and attending to guest needs with a  high degree of professionalism and attention.

Chef: Unique and quality food preparation for all meals and snacks, sourcing of local produce as well as the purchase and provision of quality wines. 

Qualifications: Experience and qualifications in small hotel management, suitable past experience, strong hospitality/customer service skills; high end chef skills and experience.

Personal Qualities: The successful couple will show the commitment and drive to oversee a small boutique hotel and a local staff of housekeepers, kitchen hands and gardeners as well as an innate understanding of the needs and expectations of clients seeking that unique, high end and five star experience.  They will understand the need to work long shifts and, while the hotel is establishing itself, work potentially many days straight and manage expenses and staff costs. Chef will need to have a creative flair and exceptional food presentation skills, and the ability to work with what may at times be a limited produce supply. Host will need mechanical skills to deal with emergency situatins on equipment and a good understanding of pool maintenance.  In addition the capacity to pass on skills to trainee staff will be an advantage.  

Compensation: Yearly base salary plus profit sharing, commensurate with experience. Large private apartment,  all food while on the premises, exclusive use of car and cell phone and several breaks each year and potential air fares back to mainland (depending upon country of origin)  are included in benefit package. As the position will have fiduciary responsibilities applicants must have verifiable good credit; references will be checked.

Business Opportunity:

Upscale PCHhas an opportunity - a home with a maximum of 6 residents for a live in agency operator couple. The live in couple will provide assistance to seniors or disabled individuals by helping them to perform everyday tasks that they can no longer do by themselves.  The agency operators (couple) will give care to residents directly or supervise others when not on premise or duty active.

Income potential:

An agency operator (couple) has many financial benefits. As live in agency operators there are four specific financial benefits.

#1 your cost of living – home is provided by Upscale. (no more mortgage or rent payments). Utilities included as part of the business cost structure that you influence.

Job Requirements:

·  High school graduate or equivalent.

·  CNA/ Home Health Aide certification and preferred medication assistance certification. Upscale PCH will assist with training.  If concerns regarding cost we can assist there as well.

·  Upscale PCH will arrange training for medication management and oversight of medications by a license nurse

·  Prefer to be a mature 30+ years of age. Must be a married couple. Must pass background check and have a valid driver’s license with good driving record.

·  Will perform general household duties, organizing recreational activities.

·  Caregiver Couple reports directly to Assisted Living Director.

·  Must be well organized and self-motivated.

·  Must be able to prioritize and meet timelines, completing assignments and projects in a timely manner.

Spring/Summer in the Florida Keys. Couple needed for small family campground located in Marathon, FL- the middle Keys. Paid for all hours worked plus full hookup site, free Wi-fi, free laundry, days off together.

Looking for couple willing to help wherever needed and able to multi-task. Duties include but are not limited to : one person approximately 40 hours per week : groundskeeping, assisting campers, light maintenance.
