- 3/2 home is available for living on the premises

- Duties
? Landscape maintenance (mowing open pasture, weedwacking, maintenance of forest trails, flattening the gravel driveway, etc…)
? Monitor the property at all times for trespassers
? Monitor the guest house to ensure there are no immediate issues that need to be addressed
? Address minor handyman needs around the property including light plumbing, electrical, painting, and other miscellaneous needs
? Coordinate with 3rd party vendors (contractors, housekeeping crew, landscapers, etc…)
? Coordinate and/or perform improvements to the property such as fencing, expanding the orchard, planting the vegetable garden, maintaining chickens, and more.
? Maintain and improve a small apple orchard
? Prepare and maintain the guest house for vacation rentals
? Winterize the guest house as needed
? Maintain onsite equipment such as landscaping machinery and tools
? Perform emergency preparations in case of blizzards, hurricanes, excessive rains, or any additional environmental emergency events

- Candidates must be:
? Handy around the property
? Willing to maintain the property that isn't forested
? Excited to pour themselves into the property and execute on a long term vision
? Family oriented, mature, positive, and forward thinking
? Independent and self-motivated

The property is a multi-generation estate measuring 28 acres of which roughly 50% is forested, including 2 ponds, 2 primary houses, 1 working barn, 1 deteriorating barn, 1 deteriorating guest house, a small orchard, hiking trails in the forest, and a private gravel driveway off of a paved road. The owners are a tightly knit family that use the property regularly throughout the year but do not live in North Carolina and are looking to rent one of the houses on the property to like-minded families that want to spend some time "off the grid". We are looking for caretakers who are down-to-earth, family oriented, nature loving, hard-working, and visionary. Our farm is an amazing foundation that we want to build over the course of several years to create a truly special/unique property and experience to be shared with our family, caretakers, and guests.

The ideal candidates are flexible, innovative, dependable, in good health, and are excited about working for a motivated and visionary family. They must be team players, self directed, hard working, efficient, and keenly aware of owner expectations and directions. They must have excellent communication skills, be computer literate, possess a positive attitude and have the ability to multitask. Confidentiality is key to this position as is a focus on details.

Work Camper Couple for Cleaning - North Truro, Cape Cod, MA

We are a family owned and operated campground on beautiful Cape Cod, Massachusetts.  Our wooded campground is situated on about 58 acres of pine forest near the tip of Cape Cod, completely surrounded by the Cape Cod National Seashore, less than a half mile walk to stunning Head of the Meadow Beach.   We are looking to hire a few excellent work camper couples for the summer from mid-May to mid-September, 2017 to help us carry on our tradition of camping excellence.

We currently have cleaning openings for two couples.  The first couple would perform the daily cleaning duties for our shower facilities and our recreation hall, as well as, walking throughout the campground picking up the campground roads, pathways and campsites daily.  The second cleaning couple would perform the daily cleaning of our four restroom facilities, including checking the bathrooms each morning and each afternoon, restocking paper towels and toilet paper and quickly tidying up, as well as performing a more detailed cleaning once per day. Lastly we also have an opening for a nightly guard to walk our property nightly from about 10:30 pm – 1:00 am to encourage campground quiet hours and fire safety, and then to assist with other miscellaneous projects around the campground on a daily basis.

For each of these positions we would provide a free campsite with full hookups and in addition would pay $10 per hour for every hour worked, plus a 10% End of Season Bonus at the end of the summer.  We are interested finding hard working couples with a positive attitude and a high attention to detail to join our summer team.  We look forward to hearing from you.
