RV Park is looking for semi-retired couple with previous experience in campground management and maintenance.  The position is for a couple to attend to all operations of the RV Park.  The position is full time from April 1st to October 31st and part time for the other months.  The managers/caretakers are required to live onsite in a two (2) bedroom residence with an attractive inclusive rent.  This is a contract position; remuneration to be discussed.  Position to start April, 2017.

The  daiy duties include guest check in, making reservtions (all ofice management - answering phones and emails), site check-out, general grounds maintenance, lawn mowing, property maintenance and housekeeping duties (cleaning washrooms, showers and laundry).  The position requires computer skills, people skills as well as handyman skills.  The ability to resolve conflict in a friendly manner and ensure that policies are adhered to is a must.  Being comfortable with email is a must, as all reservations are confirmed via email and most of the reservations are received via email.

This is an ideal opportunity for a retired person.

A newly renovated, one-bedroom/one bath, cottage apartment overlooks a scenic 100-acre lake. In exchange for housing, heat, utilities, a full “work” week is expected.

The individual(s) must have a pleasant personality, good safety habits, the ability to get along well with a variety of people. Also, general maintenance skills, firsthand knowledge regarding the operation of various boats (pontoon/bass boat) is needed. Light plumbing and basic electrical knowledge is preferred. The Caretaker position is expected to be a hands-on, full-service position that provides security and stability for the community.

Specific duties include: communicating with the board of directors, checking member and/or guest passes, rental of camping spots, answering the phone, purchasing supplies, general housekeeping of Clubhouse, light tree cutting, grass cutting, picking up trash/grounds clean-up, ability to tow objects from lake and redirect the occasional stray human or critter.

A professional background check will be performed. References are required.
Previous experience as a caretaker or maintenance person is preferred.

Off-Season Campground Hosts - Kanab, UT

Southern Utah Off-Season Help

We are looking for a Security/Office person or couple for the current off- season at a small RV Campground.  Duties may include cleaning restrooms and three small cabins, public relations, check- in, taking reservations, and communicating with tourists. Guests in the the Kanab, Utah area during the off season may ask about all the awesome beauty within minutes of our little town: Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, etc., and you will be providing directions and information to them.  This is the slowest time of the year for us, so there will be a lot of down time.  Mostly, you are just watching the park. You will be sharing the job with 2 other couples; therefore, on 3 days and off 6 days, so you will have plenty of time to enjoy that awesomeness.

This is not a paid position.  You will be able to park your RV, and the owners will pay a portion of your electric bill.  The off-season runs until April 1, but your out date is negotiable.
