Workcamper Couple - Ramona, CA

Onsite workcamper couple needed for beautiful 128 site RV resort. We are nestled among majestic oak trees, 20 minutes from the gold mining town of Julian, and one hour from San Diego. Open all year.

One team member will be in the office responsible for check in/out and booking reservations using Campground Master software. Must have great customer service skills. We are looking for a salesperson, not an order taker.

Other half of the team will assist our maintenance staff in general maintenance and groundskeeping. Plumbing and electrical skills a huge plus! Must enjoy working in a team environment.

Compensation includes FHU and all hours paid. Approximately 25-30 hours for each person per week. 

Houseparents - Zachary, LA

Heritage Ranch Christian Children's Home is a private, not-for-profit, non-denominational Christian organization serving youth in the midst of personal or family crisis.

Houseparenting is a full-time job done by a married couple desiring to serve the Lord. Houseparents care for 6 middle and high school aged boys in a residential setting to provide a home-like therapeutic environment which promotes healing and nurturing for each child. House parents will manage the day-to-day activities of the boys and home. In addition, houseparents provide therapeutic support to the boys and their families alongside the counselor and direct care worker.

The qualified couple must be at least 21 years of age, have a high school diploma/GED (college degree preferred), and have at least 2 years post-high school job experience. Previous experience providing support services to children is preferred. 

North Mills River – Maintenance Host Couple - Mills River, NC

Cradle of Forestry IA (CFAIA) is seeking Maintenance Host Couples in Western North Carolina for months April thru October.  Located on the Pisgah National Forest, North Mills River Recreation Area.  Includes FHU site and compensation. 

Duties include fee collection, bathroom cleaning and grounds keeping. Smaller campground with river access.  Located near Hendersonville, within 30 minutes to downtown Asheville.  

Property Caretaker /  Housekeeper - Maui, HI

This is an incredible opportunity based at an extraordinary home in Wailea. This role is ideally suited to a couple, possibly semi-retired? We want the best that we can get and we would like the candidates to be ‘Quasi Homeowners’ keeping the property absolutely impeccable at all times.

You will be self-motivated, industrious, have initiative, can work well unsupervised and are exceptionally good at time-management. You must take absolute pride in everything you do. Someone who will look for potential problems before they arise and can work very quickly at problem solving if they do. 

The person looking after the caretaker/maintenance side of things will need to be fit, strong and have experience using a variety of hand tools. Ideally you could repair anything basic that becomes damaged or worn out including plumbing, electrical and carpentry. 

As you will also be greeting guests when they arrive we need you to be personable and friendly. This is not a 'live-in position so the ideal candidates will be located within a reasonable distance to Wailea. 

The owner is based in a different country therefore self-motivation and initiative are key along with regular reporting of the work undertaken on the property. 

Property Caretaker /  Housekeeper Job Description

Upkeep and general maintenance of home and property – including but not limited to;

Exterior Maintenance

·      Keeping grounds looking immaculate

·      Tree pruning

·      Regular lawn maintenance

·      Washing windows

·      Exterior home maintenance

·      Cleaning drainage

·      Reparation to anything that is damaged or worn-out

·      Any other exterior maintenance as required

Interior Maintenance

·      Ensure all gym equipment is functioning

·      All lights are working

·      All electrics functioning as they should; doors, air-conditioning, tv’s etc. 

·      All remotes have functioning batteries

·      Checking shower-heads have water flowing freely

·      All sinks are draining properly

·      Vehicles are serviced and up to date with requirements 

·      Any other interior maintenance as required

Interior Cleaning/Housekeeping

·      Sweeping/mopping floors

·      Cleaning of entire home and bathrooms

·      Laundry, washing towels and ensuring presented beautifully in each bathroom

·      Keeping all surfaces dusted

·      Immaculate presentation of furnishings, pillows puffed, toilet rolls stocked etc. 

·      Keeping all supplies fully stocked ie; drinks in fridges, laundry detergents etc. 

Guest Arrival

·      Pick-up guests from Airport and show functions of the home if first time visitors

·      Fresh flowers for all main living areas and bedrooms guests will be using

·      Laundry of towels and possibly personal items as required

·      To be on call when guests are in residence, ensure everything is going ok and resolve any operating issues should they arise

Husband/ wife Couple to live on site and manage RV and Boat Storage Facility.  Good computer skills, leasing, good phone skills to convert calls into customers, showing units, balancing payments and making bank deposits,advertising/marketing duties and  maintenance to include sweeping, light plumbing/electrical knowledge, repainting curbs, bollards, walls, and changing light bulbs. Long term position for established storage property. Caretaker Couple - Raquette Lake, NY

Caretaker couple wanted for a seasonal Adirondack home on Raquette Lake from May 1 to October 1. There are two boat-access camps: the main camp consists of four buildings on ten acres, and your camp is a 1,600 sq ft restored boathouse with two bedrooms and 1 1/2 baths. Both require regular maintenance of buildings, grounds, and boats for retired owners who seek help in keeping up with the daily care.

The ideal couple is retired, seeking summer work in the Adirondacks, will have own boat (but a boat can be furnished). Salary is negotiable and opportunities are available for additional work around the lake.
