Caretaker couple for Christian retreat center - Campo, san diego county area, CA

This is a property caretaker position for a couple who would like to live in the countryside near San Diego (42 miles from El Cajon city, on edge of S.D.) and help maintain a Christian retreat center: either both buildings and surrounding land, or land only (to be decided between aplicants and employer). This is a permanent position offering for the right couple. The area is a transition between mountain and desert (elevation about 2700 feet) and is drier weather than near the coast, attracts many animals, such as cottontail rabbits, quail, hawks, owls, many migrating birds, coyotes, etc. Very quiet, lots of oaks on property, scenic in a rugged way. Just minutes from Anza Borego desert and a little over one hour to the ocean! A double-wide mobile home is available for reduced rent (which is less in country areas), depending on the extent of work: a 2 bdrm, 2 full bath, large living/dining/kitchen area with 40' long deck/Califoria room (1248sf+160sf). Can be furnished or partly, depending upon desire.
Animals okay if kept outside and tame. Gardening okay (remnants of a garden for which topsoil and compost were added remains). There are certain possible extras, including a large (unheated) pool (30'X60'), that gets warm at the hottest part of each summer. This is only included if job involves inside work (depends upon contract between aplicant and employer).
Work involves: 1) outside property, keeping down brush around building, watering trees and surrounding bushes, riding mower over rougher areas. This requires no more than 4 hours per week, and several days before each of three yearly retreats. (2) some building maintenance and cleaning (the extent to be decided, whether inside or only outside), and possible repairs to structures, painting, etc. Aplicants will need to be handy at repairs in general and physically able to use equipment such as riding mower, weed eaters, shovels, rakes, etc.
In reference to time and days, this is a versatile position. Couple may decide on thei own hours/days, and travel freely, as long as the work is performed when needed. The ideal couple will be renting in the nearby area, but have the desire to live in country at a much lower rent in exchange for a small amount of work. Those further away will need to travel to location for interview before any job offer may be made. Couple must be non-smokers, have background references, with no children in household. Senior couples capable of performing work and on Social Security will be given preference, but position is open to all applicants.
The position you are applying for is one that a couple performed for fifteen years previously, having been members of the Church and putting in the mobile home. The woman rode the mower around the property and helped with cleaning the retreat center, and the man attended to the manual weeding chores and maintenance. However, work may be distributed in any manner that the successful applicants wish. We are looking to fill this position as soon as possible.
Innkeeping/Property Manager Position in Texas - San Marcos/Houston, TX

Looking for mature, reliable non-smoking couple to manage well-established motel that has been in operation for a long time. Full-time live-in position. Job requires a couple with energy, personality, the ability to multi-task and a love of providing hospitality and dealing with people.
Duties include but are not limited to check-in, check-out, handling reservations, ordering and purchasing supplies along with managing all aspects of operations: housekeeping, marketing (online and offline), reservations, maintenance, bookkeeping, billing and paying bills, and general property upkeep.
Compensation will be discussed and will include housing onsite with all utilities paid. 3 bedroom attached apartment with kitchen furnished with appliances.

Summer months are busy and couple must be capable of multi-tasking, long-hours and be able to work well under pressure. Both individuals are required for the position. Housekeeping, laundry and maintenance must be done when required. The successful candidates will report regularly to owners.

Caretaker/Ranch Manager Needed - Hunters, WA

We are looking for a couple (family/children are welcome) to care for a very large property with creek, private lake, a horse, chickens, lots of lawn to mow, and fences to maintain. The total property is 900 acres with a majority of the property left in its natural state, part of it is farmed that is hired out, the rest is maintained by the Caretakers/Ranch Manager.
Four houses (1 large lodge and three smaller homes) to maintain including interior housekeeping and exterior maintenance. This also requires shopping to stock up on supplies for each home.
Tractors, trucks, mowers, etc. to use and maintain. Experience in fixing equipment needed, creativity is a plus. Daily tasks include checking property grounds, maintenance on equipment or if machines need to be fixed. Vegetable garden to be maintained, fruit trees as well, green house.
Must have bookkeeping experience. Will be working with main office and sending reports monthly.
Owners and family will make sporadic visits in which the property needs to be ready and cleaned afterwards.
