Camp Manager

This position is suitable for a couple or individual with the right combination of experience. Please note that the Camp Manager position would be held by one person, with opportunities for their partner to work on site in a staff role discussed if desired.

Role

• Oversee the camp from a facilities perspective, playing a lead role in upkeep, maintenance, sanitation and repair of camp facilities/assets as well as overseeing the ordering, supervision and preparation of food being served.
• Works with the Management, Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Food Services teams to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of site.
• Collaborate with the summer camp program and offseason rentals to ensure a successful program and rental experience.
•  Engage with local community to promote strong community ties, revenue opportunities and represent the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience in general facilities, grounds, and equipment maintenance
• Ability to work effectively with other team members as well as function independently
• Strong computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Completion of a WHMIS training course an asset
• Successful candidate must clear a criminal record check with vulnerable sector search

Commitment

This is a full time, permanent, live-in position at Camp Winfield in Lake Country, British Columbia.

We Need Your Enthusiasm - Northfield, VT

We are looking for a few extra hands to help with our growing lodging and events/catering business during our next busy summer season (May-Oct 2018) in Vermont. We are new at this, but it seems like it might be the perfect way for us to find good, reliable help.

We are a 50's couple with kids in college/high school, who are full of energy, but without enough hands and hours in the day to get all our work done. We are hoping to find another couple with just as much enthusiasm as we have, to help with the chores, and enjoy this beautiful place we have created. 

Couples/Teams Wanted for Full Service Golf & RV Resort - Warden , WA

Our Resort is looking for work campers for the 2018 season (Mid March/April to Sept/Oct)  We offer FHU sites with water, sewer, electricity, free WiFi and FREE GOLF (with a cart when available) in exchange for 24 hours per week for a couple.  You’ll have plenty of time to play golf, explore the amazing Columbia Basin or just relaxing around the pool.

We are looking for couples or teams to fill our positions:

Grounds Crew:  Mowing, working on various maintenance projects on the course – weed eating, trimming trees, maintaining bunkers, etc.  Some mechanical experience would be a bonus!   

“Handyman”/General Maintenance: Maintaining golf carts and batteries, doing electrical & plumbing repairs and some minor construction work as needed. 

Pro Shop:We are looking for someone with customer service, hospitality/retail & computer experience and golf knowledge to work in the Pro Shop. Duties include greeting customers with a smile whether on the phone or in person, making tee times and checking them in for their rounds, keeping the area neat, clean and stocked, bringing up carts and putting them back in the cart barn and plugging them in when necessary.  Our goal is to make certain our guests have the best experience possible.  Grant County Food Handlers Card and Washington MAST (alcohol serving) card may be required depending on shift.

RV Office:  Booking RV reservations, checking in RV’s, taking customers to their sites, keeping the RV Office and merchandise clean & stocked.  Must have computer experience for Microsoft Excel and our computerized POS system.

Bar & Grill: Casual dining restaurant. Should have restaurant experience prepping food, cooking, serving and bartending.  Duties may also include making sure side work is done stocking coolers and making sure that the bar area and kitchen are kept clean. We pride ourselves on quality, house-made food and friendly service.  Must also be able to use a computerized point of sale system in the Restaurant/Bar.  Tips and some possible paid hours.  Grant County Food Server Card and Washington MAST (alcohol server’s card) card.

In the Hub of the Texas Hill Country. Centrally located near Fredericksburg, Austin, San Antonio, Kerrville, Highland Lakes area.

• Shift would be Friday, Saturday & Sunday with one person for office work, and another for outside maintenance, etc.
• Flexible start date by at least 10/1 or shortly thereafter or before. Monthly benefits include FHU 30 amp RV site, electricity metered and to be reimbursed, & Wi-Fi in exchange for 33 hrs of work.
• Additional 100 hours/month for pay.

Managers for Family RV Park - Penticton , BC

RV Park is looking for a semi retired mature couple with previous experience in RV Park management and maintenance.  This position is for a couple to attend to all operations of the RV Park.  This position is full time with managers living onsite in a 2400 sq foot - 2 bedroom residence.  This is a contract position to start immediately.

The daily duties include guest check in, making reservations (all office management - answering phons and emails, computerized reservation system).  Site check out, general grounds maintenance, lawn mowing, property maintenance and housekeeping duties. (cleaning laundry an washrooms).  The position requires computer skills, people skills as well as handyman skills.  Must be bondable and physically fit.  The ability to resolve conflicts in a friendly manner and ensure policies are adhered to is a must.  Being comfortable with email is necessary as most reservations are received via email and all confirmations are sent via email.  No dogs please.
