Come have fun and work with YOGI in Waller, TX! We have jobs in; Pool, housekeeping, store, activities, maintenance, grounds, registration and café. We are hiring for the 2018 spring, summer, fall season.

Some lead positions available. Season start varies from March 1st to mid-May and ends Labor Day thru Nov 15th. We require 6 hours each week per person per couple and 9 hours each week for single workers for the site, and pay $8.50 an hour for hours worked after that. Included with your site is cable Tv, electric and water, discount on propane and a laundry allowance are included. These are full-time jobs. 

Restaurant management/Daily Operations- Looking for Couples with Experience - San Juan Mountains, CO

We have a Restaurant( and attached lodge) that we are looking for a couple to fill the positions.  We are looking for an experienced couple to run the kitchen as well as the front of the restaurant.  We are located in the beautiful San Juan Mountains of Colorado.  The summers are extremely busy and the pace is fast.  The winters are slower and allow for a more intimate experience for our guests.  We want to find a couple who can learn the ropes in the winter so they can be ready to take over managing the restaurant in the summer.  This is a unique position for a couple because our location offers completely different experiences throughout the year.  The summer season is our big revenue maker, and the winters give us the time to plan and get ready for the next summer season while offering a peaceful, snow filled mountain experience to our guests.

Our restaurant/lodge operates on two seasons: summer and winter.  We offer different menus for the different seasons. 

Summer- We are open 7 days a week in summer.  We offer a nice size menu in the summer which includes steaks, fish, seafood as well as addtional entrees and nightly and weekly specials.  In summer, we offer fine and casual dining as well as a full bar and outside patio with incredible mountain views and temps in the 70s/80s.  We are tenatively planning on expanding our outside patio area for next season.  Summer season is about volume and keeping up with the pace of the people coming to eat a great meal.

Winter- We offer winter packages that include food and drinks, as there are not a lot of restaurant choices in town.  We are in the process of partnering with other lodging places to offer meal packages to their guests as well.   We are open 3-4 days a week. .  We offer a chalkboard menu with a limited selection and weekly specials.  Our meal packages vary.  We will offer a breakfast/dinner option, a wine/beer package with a charcuterie platter, a packed lunch to include a nice sandwich, salad, and fruit, and a dessert package.  The current menu is in the works, but if you have some ideas, we want to hear them.

We offer:

A large spacious room in our lodge which includes: electric, water, propane, wifi, satellite tv, and some of the most beautiful views you have ever seen.

Kitchen position is salary. Rate depends on experience.

Front restaurant position is hourly plus tips with possibility for a bonus program.

The right couple will have the following:

-Experience in a commercial restaurant kitchen, knowledge of the different roles needed to run kitchen efficiently, line cook or chef experience preferred, previous position as a server, bartender, runner, and/or manager.  The right couple will be willing to do what is necessary to keep restaurant and kitchen running efficiently and effectively, showing ability to make decisions quickly, make necessary changes as needed, as well as provide top quality customer service to our guests.  The right couple must be able communicate effectively and think and act under pressure and still turn out incredible food.  There will be themed nights and activities we put on for the town and its visitors, so creativity and a genuine enjoyment of people and customer service is a must.  The right couple will be promoted to management positions as quickly as the next summer season, so must be able to manage summer staff and schedules, paying special attention to hours.  We are looking for a couple who can think on their feet but still take direction and produce the results we are looking for.  These positions are as much about sales and selling the experience of our property as they are about the quality food we serve.  Must be willing to go above and beyond when getting a job done. 

On a side note:  Our property consists of a large restaurant, full bar, pool table, outdoor patio, a small lodge with less than 10 rooms, and our personal residence.  We live on site and are looking for a couple to come in and work with us thru the winter. Learning how things run and understanding the vision we have for our business is vital as well as being commited to reaching the goals we have set.

We are NOT looking for a couple to manage the lodge.  We are looking for a couple to help run the restaurant and become the restaurant's managers.  The long term goal is to have the whole property run by the right couple, but that is a 1-2year plan and will only be offered to the right couple who show a strong work ethic and commitment while employed us. 

We do live in the Rocky Mountains and it gets cold and it gets snow.  Please be aware of this before you respond.  We will allow one dog as long as it is well behaved and fully housebroken.  We cannot allow cats, sorry.

Live in a small cabin on a lovely wooded lake in Patagonia and work about 10 hours per week in exchange for housing/utilities - Patagonia, 1.5 hours from BBA airport

Might you like to spend at least a year in Patagonia, Chile, very remote and beautiful? 

Help finish the interiors and solar power system of the small, off-grid home where you will live on a lovely remote, forested lake with mountain views, and live rent and utility-free year round.  Must enjoy solitude and be able to live completely off the grid without TV or addictions of any kind, and be willing to confront very occasional trophy trout poachers within the Chilean law.  Spanish proficiency extremely helpful.

Must have the means to buy most of your own food from Coyhaique, 2 hours distant, four wheel drive transportation, and other necessities.  We will supply building materials and help with construction of interiors and solar electric system.  We live here from Oct thru April and in Chicago during the winter, but need someone to watch our 90 acres of land and yurt plus 95 acre lake, tend fences, trap mink,  when we are not here. Small salary (enough to feed yourself) plus earned bonus will also be provided to care for about 24 llamas and alpacas and greenhouse, yurt, barns, etc during winter (May-Sept).  To heat your home and provide cooking and hot water, you will need to gather and split fallen trees from the nearby property and be able to drive and maintain small boats with outboards.  Bridge players (or those willing to learn to play bridge) are encouraged during summer!  Extensive vacations during summer, start date, some salary and duties are negotiable, and we are reasonable, pretty self-sufficient, sane and fun to be around.  We volunteer nearly full time for an educational non-profit utilizing BGAN satellite internet; we believe cell/internet service will be available by February 2018, although we can't be sure.  We love it here and are looking for another independent, mature, friendly couple who will love it, too!

Domestic Couple Vacancy in Dublin, Ireland - County Mayo

A lovely family is looking for an experienced domestic couple to manage their recently purchased property, based in in the West of Ireland (county Mayo). This picturesque fishing and shooting estate is set on approximately 113 acres and is composed of numerous different components including woodlands, pastures, lake frontage, a garden, a number residential buildings, a boat house and stables.

The property will be used as a fishing and shooting lodge and holiday home. It is currently being completely refurbished and when not in use by the owners will be privately let for short term lettings (2 – 3 days) to high net worth visitors. 

This is a permanent position with beautiful accommodation provided.

Responsibilities

Estate Management
 

• Tend to and manage garden.
• Use farm machinery including tractor and PTO driven machinery to maintain road ways.
• Manage the mature native deciduous forestry (in conjunction with contractors where necessary).
• Cut wood for the open fires and stoves in the properties.
• Maintain fields and lawns surrounding the house.
• Maintain walkways throughout the grounds.
• Maintain paddocks and fencing in coordination with local farmers who utilize a portion of the land for agricultural cultivation and livestock.
• Liaise with and manage contractors as appropriate.
• Ensure the security of the estate.
• General maintenance of the properties.

Residences

There is one principal residence and two other residential buildings on the property. All have been recently renovated.

• Ensure residences are in good working order, inside and out
• Maintain highest level of cleanliness; duties include laundry, windows, vacuuming, dusting and all standard housekeeping responsibilities
• When family or guests are in residence, plan, prepare and cook meals when required (the family are keen cooks and guests may or may not require full catering).
• Keep the household stocked with kitchen staples for the family and other items, such as laundry detergent, that are needed.
• Keep up with seasonal work such as fireplace and flue cleaning, and gutter clean out and maintenance
• Ensure reliable wifi and telephone service at all times, coordinate with service providers as necessary
• Maintain appropriate service contracts for items such as pest control and gym equipment
• Maintain and review all utility suppliers and arrange bill payments
• Provide support to interior design team when decorating work is necessary
• Provide any other administration for the family as requested

Safety and Security
 

• Ensure home and personal security including liaising with alarm company to ensure up-to-date monitoring contracts, emergency contact lists and servicing agreements are in place.
• Ensure good attention to IT security for the family (with regular backups of data, virus controls and good levels of password management)

Other
 

• Ensure cars are kept cleaned, fuelled, taxed, insured and serviced (to schedule) at all times
• Ensure that other farm equipment (tractors/mowers etc) are maintained and serviced regularly

Requirements
 

• Looking for a long term lifestyle choice working environment.

Management Couple for B&B in South West, France - Sarlat-la-Canéda

Live-in Management Couple

I am looking for a friendly, energetic couple to live-in to run the day to day aspects of my Bed & Breakfast in Sarlat, France.  I have a small, very successful B&B with 4 rooms, plus a self-catering apartment both centrally located in Medieval Sarlat.

The position is for a 8/9 month period per year from March until the end of Oct/Nov (flexible).  There is also the possibility to start in February for training which can be discussed during the interview process.

Responsibilities include:  Breakfast service, cleaning of the rooms and the property, checking guests in/out, laundry & ironing, shopping for food, minor repairs and maintenance of the property, being available for concierge service, small amount of gardening in the Courtyard.

Customer service is my number one priority, a small, intimate business that always serves with a smile makes guests feel like family.  I have built a successful business by offering a warm, welcoming service and more importantly with the friendliness and familiarity of a B&B.

Applicants must speak English and with some French would be preferable.
