Wonderful family seeks to hire experienced full time, long term domestic couple or a Executive Housekeeper/Houseman for their beautiful private Warren, NJ estate.

This is a very large property, yet is semi-formal residence and work style. A gracious and self-motivated service oriented is required. The ideal couple will have seasoned experience working for private families in private homes. Their experience will have been as a Butler/Houseman and a Housekeeper/Laundress, cook. They must be proactive, detail oriented, highly organized and self-starters. The woman’s duties would include but are not limited to: cleaning and maintaining the home, organizing closets, laundry, ironing, preparing and cooking simple meals etc. As a couple, you must be team players and both have at least 5 years of domestic, private home work experience with verifiable references. Position is M-F but some occasional Saturday might be required

The job responsibilities include, but not limited to managing packages, manage construction projects & vendors, cook simple meals, housekeeping, laundry, etc. There is additional staff who work part time. Private 2-bedroom apartment with kitchen and living room. Required; experience working in a large formal private residence as a Domestic Couple or Executive Housekeeper and speak clear fluent English.

Household consist of a couple and their small dog, they have adult children/grandchildren that comes and visit. The position requires flexibility to work five to five days Monday through Fridays and occasion Saturdays. The schedule is M-F with flexibility to work occasional on Saturdays and can be Live-in or live-out. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, someone who is highly skilled in all areas of housekeeping with prior luxurious home experience. Need someone who is reliable, is willing to adjust and accommodate to the needs of the family. Candidate must enjoy the profession, be happy performing their job, a team player and take responsibility to get the job done.

Job Duties:

• Answer the phone and take accurate messages
• Answer the door and greet guest, take their coats, hats etc
• Packing & unpacking for travel
• Full charge Housekeeping; skilled in all areas relating to housekeeping and overall upkeep of the residence.
• Consistent with their daily task, Must be very organized and pay great attention to detail, daily cleaning of all areas. Keeping the home clean at all times
• Able to set the table and assist in serving when the family entertains.
• Great organizational skills; keeping Inventory of supplies, re-stocking
• Personal laundry and household linen. Proper care for delicate fabrics, ironing and pressing linens.
• Cooking skills is needed
• Knowledgeable in the proper care and maintenance of all type of surfaces

Job Requirements:
• Minimum five years recent Housekeeper Experience in a Residence
• Verifiable References

Domestic couple team is needed urgently for a live-in housekeeper role for an international VIP family. The role requies the couple to stay at one of the family houses in Mayfair. There may be occasional work required in the 2nd property nearby. Both members must have strong experience in housekeeping and are friendly, discrete and energetic.

As a volunteer with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service with access to Federal facilities you would be required to submit to a standard background check prior to beginning work.

The refuge has a trailer pad with electric and sewer hook ups which can be used during the work period.  There is also a small out building with a washer and dryer for use with the trailer pad.  A new water softener has been installed to improve the water quality at the site.   

Vermont is a wonderful place to spend the summer.  This position will provide a great view into one of Vermont's most significant wildlife habitats and an interesting opportunity to connect with visitor's from Vermont, Canada and many other states.  It is a short drive to Vermont's largest city, Burlington which offers an abundnace of cultural opportunities including music and food festivals.  The refuge is also only a 1.5 hour drive to Montreal.
