Looking for a mature couple to manage a small well maintained vintage resort consisting of 16 cottages situated on nearly 2 acres with Redwoods and mature plantings. We plan to expand in next year to add approximately 4 more units to the resort, in addition to reception hall, new Continental breakfast room and other services for resort.

Miranda is small town off hwy 101 on Avenue of the Giants boasting some of the largest trees in the world. Close to hiking trails, Humboldt Redwoods State Park and camp grounds and has 3 yr old market, good restaurant, ice cream shop and wine bar soon to open.  very busy from May through October. Open all year and we are looking for husband who can do minor repairs and maintenance , wife who can run front office, answer phones, be people oriented and have good appearance.

We will entertain outside employment of couple especially during winter months which are generally slower, but still open for guests.

Duties would include serving Continental Breakfast May through October, seeing that nightly campfire is ready May -October and being gracious to our guests, many of whom have returned for 30 yrs.  We have some 3rd generation guests.Need to have computer skills and web capilities.

We include a one bedroom apartment with updated bath off the bedroom. All utilities are included Non smokers, no drugs. no pets.

Compensation will be comenserate with experience and abilities.

Are you starting to think about next summer? It is time to look for work campers for the 2019 season. Our Campground (Springfield IL) a Good Sam 10-10-10 rated park(3 years in a row), is looking for campers to help in the Camp Store/Registration for the 2019 season.

Workers have plenty of time to relax around our pool, visit the local Lincoln sites, Chicago, St Louis, Indianapolis, Hannibal and many other spots a short drive or train ride away.

Our beautiful 125 site park on 25 wooded acres with all pull-through, full-hook up sites is always full of tourists and families relaxing in central Illinois.

We swap a site for couples that volunteer to help in the office and escorting at this owner occupied/maintained campground. Park is open all year, work campers needed April 1-Oct 31. Limited options for singles are also available with a modified work schedule.

Duties include working registering campers, serving customers and taking reservations (Computer Skills Required). You will also escort campers to their site and do some light tasks, like empty trash cans, cleaning fire rings, and general park/pool clean up.

Looking for hands on ranch management couple team, full time, at 1,200 acre foothill ranch in Calaveras County, California. Cattle / agricultural background, hospitality skills, and good mechanical knowledge required.

Work includes care exercise and training for 6 horses, small herd of cattle, up-keep of homes, grounds, pool, ponds, shops, barns, roads, fences, firewood, stock water systems, flood irrigation, management of timber stand improvement and harvest, machinery maintenance and repair, caretaking and purchasing of all ranch supplies. Ability to perform light electrical, plumbing and carpentry and operate ranch equipment required. Management and communication skills are important to owners. Must be willing to support owner’s use of property when owner and guests are in residence. Assist with guest and meal services when owner and guests are in residence. Housekeeping and maintenance of owner’s house, guest house and guest cottage. Assist owner and guests with horse riding and instruction as needed. Ranch Manager will schedule and direct special projects as needed.

Previous ranch management experience required. Must have valid driver’s licenses, clean driving record, no criminal record or outstanding warrants, be non smokers and drug free.
