Live-In Domestic Couple Needed - Albuquerque , NM

We are in search for a live-in EM couple for a self-made, down to earth couple in the Albuquerque area. Our clients have had very loyal employees for up to 25 years and treat their employees like family. We are going to make sure we find our wonderful clients a couple who will work hard to exceed their expectations and allow them to enjoy more time with their family and doing the things they love.

Salary is $100k based on experience and benefits are a beautiful private guest house a vehicle and possibly insurance.

Below is a list of detailed duties and skills required for this position:

• Housekeeping (including cleanup after dinners)
• Cooking (The ideal candidate will have a culinary degree or just a great self-taught cook. Our client’s have their grown children and their families over for dinner at least twice a week so the candidate will need to be comfortable cooking healthy meals for at least 6 adults and children.)
• Couple’s Laundry (We need someone who has training or knowledge of how to properly care for and clean high end, tailor made clothes. An ideal candidate would be someone with tailoring experience although it’s not a requirement)
• Basic home maintenance (both indoors and outdoors)
• Landscaping maintenance
• Running errands
• Dog sitting (must love and be comfortable around a large dog!)

Our client’s also have a home in Santa Fe they visit about 3 days a week. The 3 days our clients are in Santa Fe, the couple will be able to finish their weekly duties or take the time off if everything is done. Flexibility is essential as our client’s time in Santa Fe may change every week. This means that some weeks the couple will have Fri-Sun off and other weeks where they make work a weekend. Our client’s are also flexible and respectful of their employee’s personal life so if the couple wants to attend church on Sundays or has a personal appointments during the week that’s totally fine.

Details of the EM couple’s private quarters will be discussed with those who are being considered for this position. Our clients are also providing a vehicle for the couple to use for both on and off duty use.

Lastly, it’s crucial that the EM couple have a “can-do” attitude where there isn’t anything they feel is beneath them. In addition to having the experience and skills listed above, we value the importance of a positive attitude, character and loyalty as equally important. We are looking for a team -one person would be part time manager and one part time maintenance. The 44 home apartment community is owned and managed by Summit Management, which owns several communities in Minnesota. The Summit Management headquarters is located in Stillwater, MN.

The right candidates will be friendly, professional and have excellent customer service skills. Must be computer-literate with strong verbal and written skills are a must. The managers will be responsible for a wide array of duties and tasks involved in overseeing the community.

These duties include, but are not limited to:
Answering phones, emails and walk-ins for lease inquiries
Customer service skills, apartment tours, and leasing of apartments
Maintenance, repairs, replacements, and upkeep of property and rental units as needed
Maintain clean common areas and turn apartments
Grounds keeping, including snow removal and lawn maintenance
Prepare, review and execute leases with new and renewing residents
Collect rents, manage accounts receivable and billing on our property management software
Process resident inquiries and concerns-- enforcing community living standards
Maintain an update leases and rental agreements
Create, justify and update property budgets
Organize, assist (and lead) with miscellaneous projects and developments
Type and proof correspondence and memos
Copy and email when needed, run errands as necessary
Maintain a court appearance calendar and make appearance for eviction actions
Compensation for this position is use of an apartment located in the building. There is also financial compensation which will commensurate with experience.
