Groundskeeper/Caretaker/Project Help - Western , PA

We are a small, developing RV and cottage park in Western PA mountaintop farmland, working toward opening for business in a future season. We are looking for an honest, hardworking, non-smoking, and open-minded couple, single person, or family to serve as groundskeepers/gardeners/caretakers who will maintain the grounds and assist us with construction projects and further development for the (flexible) dates of April/May 2019 until September/October 2019, with the possibility of season extensions and/or repeat seasons.
We are 16 wooded acres with two ponds soon to be open for family camping, including 13 flat, gravel/grass sites with water, electric, and currently sewage hookup on 5 sites. We offer a full hookup site with water, sewer, monthly stipend for electric, propane, and WI-FI in exchange for 24-hours per week in work, including some weekend work.
Duties would include mowing, trimming, pruning, hand-weeding, treefall clearance, woodchopping, basic pond maintenance, tractor work for road and path development and maintenance, some stonework and construction projects, and performing other duties as requested. The Pond amenities include cool-temperature summer nights, fishing pond (bass and bluegill), frog/lily pond, hiking trails, communal fire pit, orchard garden with dwarf fruit trees and berries, wild blackberries and raspberries, garden in 1700s stone foundation of house original to the property. Nearby sites include the Flight 93 National Memorial, Great Alleghany Passage rail-to-trail, and multiple Laurel Highlands parks.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet arriving guests, assist with check -in and check out
- Take an active role in seeing that facilities and equipment are properly maintained and used appropriately
- Cleans fire pits, bear-lockers, rake around campsites, blow off parking areas and roadways,
- Paint/clean picnic tables as needed
- Clean restrooms as per housekeeping schedule
- Ensures vehicle procedures are followed in the use of assigned vehicles.
- Know, understand and follow established rules and standards for housekeeping and sanitation.
- Monitor campground loop and handle any concerns or questions from guests.

- Collect payment from campers and envelopes from fee tubes
- Do weed trimming and lawn mowing
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- Knowledgeable about visitor services and amenities in the forest and campground.
- Able to work weekends, nights and holidays
- Strong communication skills
- Positive attitude toward the campground environment
- Genuine concern for guests camping/lodging experience
- Able to work unsupervised
- Able to follow direction and work in a team environment
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean 3-year history, and no DUI within the past 10 years.
- Able to reside in personal RV that is less than 20 years old
Preferred:
- Experience in the recreation industry

Innkeeper(s) for Small Inn in Western Sonoma County - Monte Rio, CA

Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or 5 years work related experience.
- Previous experience renting apartments and assisting tenants required.
- Experienced in sales or related field.
- Knowledge of applicable legislation respecting residential tenancies in Alberta and the rights and obligations of Landlords and Tenants an asset.
