Resident Manager Couple - Stockton, CA

We are seeking to fill the Resident Manager positions immediately. The qualified candidates would be an energetic, outgoing, self-starter, who has excellent sales, marketing and customer service skills. Medium Sized facility, Budget Truck rentals.
This position contributes to facility profitability by developing and maintaining mutually beneficial business relationships and being committed to customer satisfaction. This Manager pays close attention to detail and has general sales, marketing and computer skills.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the sales, marketing, occupancy, and delinquency management of the facility.
- Provides outstanding customer service including assessing and resolving customer problems and professionally handling telephone and walk-in inquiries.
- Shows, rents and cleans self-storage units as well as actively selling and maintaining supplies of moving and packing materials.
- General management of the office including but not limited to opening and closing the office on time each day, keeping and balancing petty cash, making daily bank deposits and preparing reports as required by management.
- Keeping the facility rented at optimum levels by effectively utilizing advertising, promotional and customer relation skills as approved by management.
- Maintains all required tenant documentation in a neat and orderly manner as directed by management.
- Controls delinquencies through telephone contact and letters on a scheduled basis.
- Cleans space(s) as vacated, hallways, and grounds as needed. Clean office and restrooms daily.
- Maintains a neat, clean, safe and secure facility including minor maintenance and daily lock checks as well as visual inspection daily.
- Assist in preparing units for auction as prescribed by law, and approved by management.
- Effectively communicates with management and fellow associates.
- Other functional duties as assigned.
Work Skills
- Basic Computer Skills are required
- Good organizational skills a plus
Experience & Qualifications
- Prior self-storage experience preferred but not required
- Self-Storage Software Experience is a plus
- Customer service, retail sales, marketing experience preferred
- General office and telephone skills are preferred
- Ability to pay close attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and reliable form of transportation are required in order to perform essential functions of this job
- Weekend availability is required

FEATURED JOB OPENING: Resident Caretaker(s) - Appling (20 miles outside Augusta), GA

Our club is searching for a person, or persons, to serve as our resident caretaker. Some cases may involve hiring a 2-person team to manage and perform the work duties in the position.
The Augusta Sailing Club was founded in 1954 and encompasses 14 acres of grounds, one clubhouse, 3 smaller out-buildings, one resident caretaker home, slips for 125 cruising sailboats, land parking for 200 boats, 30 campers and 7 cabins. The grounds are mostly wooded and include one mile of improved gravel roads. Visit our website and our facebook page to see what we do and who we are.
Our club has around 200 active families involved in all aspects of sailing.
The club has an active junior sailing program that includes a summer sailing camp for 7 to 8 weeks. Other programs are usually weekends and feature 12 to 15 major events on weekends. Other than when on vacation or on days off, the resident caretaker is required to live on the grounds, expressly spending nights there.
The management of the club consists of a board of governors and officers. The resident caretaker works directly for the rear commodore. Secondarily, the RC will answer to the commodore or the treasurer. On a monthly schedule, the RC will have a 90-minute meeting with the 3-member house and grounds committee to assess the upcoming needs and the prior month’s activities.
The salary for this position is based on the scope of the work to be performed and the management duties assumed by the person or persons chosen for the position. A portion of the compensation is based on the value provided by being able to live in a moderately appointed two-story home at the gate to the property. The employer pays for all normal and customary living expenses such as internet connection, electricity, and maintaining of the home. The home contains furnishings.
The ideal candidate, or candidates will have experience with dealing with the public in an atmosphere similar to our club. A friendly and professional demeanor is important to be successful. Being self-managed and self-directed are required in this position.
The successful applicant will be able to provide 3 to 5 reference calls to a member of the hiring committee.
The applicant will arrange the calls from the reference to the hiring committee member. The reference will be a person who supervised or employed the applicant in the past.
This position will hopefully be filled by June 1 up to August 1.
This is perfectly suited for a working, hands-on couple.
The current compensation package is $25K to $30k for the first person and up to $12k for the second person.
Salary and living on the premises are the main compensation for this position. There are not other benefits.
Guesthouse in the Atlantic Rainforest looking for Management Couple - Paraty Brazil

13 Chalet guesthouse on a large property in the middle of the Atlantic Rainforest looking for a management couple.
The property has a running fresh water stream (small waterfall) at the back of the property and is situated 15 minutes drive from the old Historic Centre of beautiful Paraty. While its not totally rural, it is fairly isolated so we are looking for a management couple to live on site in a 2 bedroom rustic manager house with lights/water and internet. A fair salary included as well as commissions on tour sales etc.
Its a beautiful property in a calm and quiet local neighbourhoold, surrounded by nature, with fruit trees and stunning birds, butterflies, little monkies and even a sloth that has visited a couple of times! Paraty is a beautiful small town between the cities of Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, its got a bit of everything - history, beautiful beaches and islands, rainforest and waterfalls :)
We require:
* A couple in 25 - 40's age group. Families could be considered.
* Problem solving skills and some knowledge of water pumps and basic maintence skills - we do have a very capable maintenance man but good to know some basic skills should something need to be fixed while he is not there.
* Experience in hospitality
* At least one person needs to speak Portuguese. Spanish is a bonus too.
