In exchange for a gated groundskeeper site, electricity, water, and sewage the caretaker team would perform 20 hours of work per week.  

The schedule will be flexible but would include some weekends.

Must have your personally owned trailer or 5^th wheeler, which will serve as your on-site residence.

The duties would include: area security, general maintenance, helping with events at the site, and interaction with Park staff and patrons.

Looking for couple who love the land, and share the owner's values that the Earth is sacred, and who live accordingly . Must have good communication skills, integrity, attention to detail, and ability to follow direction. Also should be physically fit and have a strong work ethic.

11 acres in the stunning Moloa'a Valley on the island of Kauai, with Moloa'a Stream running through it. The land has organic orchards, gardens, beehives, and much more. Off-grid electricity and well water. 5-10 minute drive to beaches.

Tasks include landscaping, hand-weeding, weed-whacking, mowing, chipping, some chain-saw use, and maintenance of machinery. Also farm tasks such as harvesting oranges, bananas, coconuts, sugar cane, and other tropical fruits. Care of trees, (fertilizing, mulching, etc.) Gardening (ginger, turmeric, yacon, pineapple, etc.) And general beating back of jungle.

This is a work-trade position. 24 hours per week in exchange for housing in lovely guest house. Occasional opportunities for paid hours.

Live-In Professional Domestic Couple (Housekeeper, Chef, Handyman) - Pilot Hill, CA

We are currently in search for an experienced live-in Domestic Couple for a single father of four older children to start 2/1/2020.

The Principal will only have his children 30% of the time, as his ex-wife is their primary caretaker. His children are ages 14-18 so the couple will not need any professional childcare experience but personality must work well with teenagers. The main home is 7,000 sq ft on 40 acres of land with a full working ranch and surrounded by thousands of acres of government land. The family employees a ranch caretaker for all the animals and general ranch maintenance.

Salary is $100k/year with health, dental, housing and a vehicle to use when on duty. However, the salary will be more or less based on the couple’s experience, qualifications and duties they can provide.

Duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Housekeeping
• Laundress
• Healthy Cooking (Breakfast at 6:30am when the children are home & 7:30/8am when it's just the Principal. Dinner at 6pm)
• Grocery Shopping
• Meal Planning (packing children's lunches when they're home)
• Running Errands (dry cleaning, home supplies, feed store etc.)
• Pet Care (they are getting 2 Rottweiler puppies)
• Home Management (vendors, security, organizing, mail etc.)
•  Scheduling (trips for the family, Principal's Outlook calendar, Vet appointments etc.)
• Handyman (general household maintenance, simple repairs, outdoor cleaning, cleaning Principal's vehicle, general landscaping etc.)

Spanish speaking candidates are a plus but not as important as experience. The couple's guesthouse is 800 sq ft, 1/bed, 1/bath will full amenities (TV, WiFi, Washer/Dryer & Kitchen) with no enclosed yard. Pets of any size are allowed as long as they are friendly with chickens, pigs, cows and other ranch animals. The main home has a jacuzzi, gym and pool the couple is free to use when the Principal is not home or using it himself.

For the right couple, this is an opportunity of a lifetime! The location is also perfect for those who love the seclusion of the outdoors to garden, mountain bike (there are miles of trails) and to live on a beautiful ranch surrounded by thousands of acres of land and animals. One of the most important qualities in a couple is their understanding and ability to cook delicious, healthy meals. While the other duties are just as important, the right couple will have excellent cooking skills with a general understanding of clean eating.
