Their needs are for a full-time housekeeper who is able to prepare meals (mainly dinners for 4 adults) and a handy-man/grounds-keeper who can take care of a built-in pool, large gardens, and tier-property. Both members of the couple should be able to run errands, grocery shop, and care for four large dogs in the home. There are four grown adults living in the home as well as two older children and some grandchildren who live-nearby- so being family oriented and child-friendly is important. There is a large apartment on site for the couple to live-in, and another apartment a few miles away from the main home that could be an option as well. Managers for small Spanish School & Hostel - Boquete / Panama

Spanish by the River - Boquete | Panama is a small Spanish School with Hostel. It is all under one roof although we have guests using the Hostel without taking Spanish classes. At the moment the place is actually basically a small Hostel. Spanish classes we offer about 1 week per month. 

We are looking for dynamic people that are interested in sharing adventures with travellers, speak English and Spanish (at least), are creative, handy with computers, apps, programs and modern technology. Please be flexible and used to hostellife. 

What we can offer now is a private room at the property and $600 per month ($300 per person) to cover food expenses. We expect 40 hours of work per week, per person and that the business is taken care off. It is not busy, there is no stress and the place is very pleasant to stay at. There is a large yard and it would be great if you could help getting the vegetable garden started again!

We have an opportunity for a working couple to handle general yard maintenance and upkeep of the grounds along with other duties.  The ability to plant and manage a vegetable and herb garden is a plus.

A Kid’s Place provides residential services to children of all ages who have been removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect.  Our primary focus is to keep sibling groups together in a safe, stable, home-like environment until more permanent placement can be provided. 

We are currently recruiting for single and/or couple House Parents.  Our House Parent(s) are involved in teaching social skills, self-help skills, and independent living skills. House Parents administer the day-to-day operations of a family residence including documentation and domestic responsibilities.

House Parents working schedule is 7 days onsite/7 days off. We pay $50,000 per couple annually and provide a housing allowance!  Benefits begin within 60 days and offer a matching 401k program!

 Responsibilities:

• Provide direct supervision of up to 12 children in a home along with direct care staff on A Kid’s Place campus.
• Provide teaching, education and support to children to ensure stability and opportunities for growth, including life skills and assistance with homework.
• Provide behavior modification and interventions for children who may require it and who may display behavioral issues.
• Complete all documentation as required to include staffing notes and daily logs.
• Assist with coordinating activities for children within the facility.  This will include transportation, supervision and participation.
•  Provide transportation and supervision as needed for children to appointments within the     community.
• Assist in maintaining and caring for houses of A Kid’s Place, this includes cleaning and preparing meals.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One year experience within social services and direct care of child welfare.
• Appropriate communication and interpersonal skills.  Must be able to communicate effectively with staff, professionals and children.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to document appropriately for tracking and reporting purposes.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a DCF background screening.

Campground Host Couple - Dunseith, MB

We are seeking a seasonal Campground Host Couple to perform the duties below. Our ideal candidates will be self-starters with a can-do attitude, customer service experience, and great attention to detail.

Taking reservations in person/online and maintaining updated reservation logs with gate staff, reservation page on the website, and campsites in a timely matter.

Ensuring payment is collected from late night arrivals and other campground guests.

Enforcing check-in and check-out times.

Maintaining an attractive campground, campsites, and facilities after check-out including: troubleshooting issues, identifying needed repairs and coordinating their maintenance, stocking/cleaning facilities.

Maintain excellent visitor relations within our standards including: knowledge of surrounding area, points of interest, activities, and selling firewood.

Monitoring campground activity and reporting issues.

Monitoring weather patterns and notifying guests of incoming weather and locations of storm shelter.

Assisting our staff with events and other duties as needed.

We are in a unique location directly on the U.S./Canada border.
