Seeking Live-in Caretaker Couple For 11 Acres - Kilauea, HI

Looking for couple who love the land, and share the owner's values that the Earth is sacred, and who live accordingly . Must have good communication skills, integrity, attention to detail, and ability to follow direction. Also should be physically fit and have a strong work ethic.

11 acres in the stunning Moloa'a Valley on the island of Kauai, with Moloa'a Stream running through it. The land has organic orchards, gardens, beehives, and much more. Off-grid electricity and well water. 5-10 minute drive to beaches.

Tasks include landscaping, hand-weeding, weed-whacking, mowing, chipping, some chain-saw use, and maintenance of machinery. Also farm tasks such as harvesting oranges, bananas, coconuts, sugar cane, and other tropical fruits. Care of trees, (fertilizing, mulching, etc.) Gardening (ginger, turmeric, yacon, pineapple, etc.) And general beating back of jungle.

This is a work-trade position. 24 hours per week in exchange for housing in lovely guest house. Occasional opportunities for paid hours.
