We are currently seeking an engergetic couple to fill our front desk attendant and outside maintenance technician for our spring/summer season at Carlsbad RV Park, located in Carlsbad, New Mexico. This is a year-round position and longer employment may be possible.
Duties include office (Campground Master Software) and some cleaning, general maintenance, escorting guests, grounds keeping, (basic plumbing and electrical experience needed).
All hours paid plus FHU, basic cable 40 channels, WiFi, and laundry allowance.

Your Responsibilities
Each member of our retail team plays an important role in our stores and in the communities they serve. You will be asked to take care of a variety of tasks throughout the store.
Share your knowledge, experience, and best practices;
Create team spirit across departments;
Achieve sales goals by planning, adapting and reacting to changes in the community;
Ordering of various retail products as needed;
Managing store personnel;
Operating cash lanes;
Organizing and creating eye-catching displays;
Executing planograms; and
Serving customers and community residents.
Skills and Qualifications
We’re looking for professional, organized workers who have a healthy sense of adventure and a strong knowledge and experience base.
A minimum of two years of experience in a high-volume grocery/retail environment;
Exceptional analytical, problem solving and decision making skills with a high attention to detail;
Proven organizational, planning and prioritizing skills;
Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills and superior customer service skills;
Must have the ability and desire to develop an in-depth understanding of NWC's customers;

Seward Campgrounds Volunteer Hosts - Seward, AK

As a Volunteer campground hosts, you serve as the department’s on-site representative. You ensure that campers have an amazing experience throughout their stay by providing exceptional customer service, including checking campers in, acting as a local informational guide, and maintaining facilities. You monitor the premises, inform guests of campground rules and regulations, and report violations to Seward Parks & Recreation (SPR) staff and/or the Seward Police Department (SPD).
Benefits
• Free assigned campsite in one of our beautiful campgrounds!
• $2/day per host (max 2). Paid monthly upon receipt of invoice. Alternatively, $50 bonus for submitting 1 invoice for the whole summer.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Host Time Commitment: Minimum must be available 24 hours to 35 per hours per week for at least 1 month, including most weekends and all holidays. Work period is June 1 2021 – September 15 2021.
• Create a welcoming environment by assisting campers with check-in, e.g., locating a site.
• Assist campers with online reservation questions.
• Provide campers information about the local area and connect them to relevant resources.
• Check, clean, and restock campground facilities. Report maintenance issues.
• Post your on-site availability publicly and be available as posted.
• Notify SPR staff of significant issues, e.g., safety, security, maintenance, complaints, etc.
• Inform visitors of rules and regulations. Report violations to SPR staff and/or the SPD.
• Maintain an alcohol- free campsite, per campgrounds regulations and City Code.
Schedule:
Morning (8AMish) Afternoon (2PMish) and Evening (8PMish) patrol-
• Conduct walk through of campground.
• Pick up trash around campsites, picnic tables and fire rings.
• Check bathrooms and perform spot clean. Report maintenance issues.
• Be available to answer questions, give directions, and assist campers.
• Document work hours and submit to SPR staff.
• In the event of an afterhours issue, e.g., unruly guest, contact the Seward Police Department.

Traditional sporting lodge in remote North Maine Woods seeks a couple to be in charge of FOOD PREP and CABIN TURNOVERS. Bradford Camps is a high end sporting lodge serving 10 – 15 guests per day three meals, and turning cabins over between guests. Cooking duties include prepping an elaborate continental breakfast, bag lunches to order, and a plated dinner. The menu is a fixed 7-day rotation cycle, with homemade desserts. Baking skills a plus, willingness and ability to learn a necessity. The couple should be a team in the kitchen with food prep, and a team at the cabins for cleaning and turnovers.
Bradford Camps is very remote, 50 miles from the nearest paved road or town or service. Employees are provided full housing with all amenities (no tv!). Work schedule is based on camp occupancy, with shifts running for ten days or more. 6-8 days off per month. Season starts May and goes through October, 6 months total. Very comfortable salary, with significant shared tips. Second season employees receive health care aid.
