Our Inn located in the Historic Old Northside in downtown Indianapolis is currently seeking an Innkeeper(s). This position is well suited for individuals as well as qualified couples. Great for graduate students or retired couples!

First and foremost the innkeeper(s) is to provide a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere/experience for guests. Additional duties include check-in/out, concierge service, preparing/serving breakfast daily, collecting payments, grounds keeping, laundry, shopping and light maintenance for our 7 room boutique inn. Successful candidate(s) must be out-going and enjoy meeting people from all over the country and world. The ability to stay customer focused while maintaining a smoothly running inn is a must.

In exchange for the above responsibilities, the innkeeper is compensated with free housing, utilities, and a $300/week stipend. Reservations, housekeeping, billing and maintenance are provided by additional support staff.

Summer is VERY busy. We are looking for someone who is willing to work or cover the inn 7 days/nights a week (yes you do get some time off but need to cover during our busy season).

Our Cabins and Retreat is seeking a couple for our caretaker position. The retreat is an attractive, completely updated 5-cabin rental, housekeeping resort on Black Bay on Lake Vermilion.

Duties include yard work, boat tending and routine maintenance on buildings/property and equipment on-site, cabin prep for guests (cleaning, changing linens, laundry) and serve as resort host(s) (which includes welcoming visitors, explaining amenities, answering questions & providing assistance as necessary). Should possess basic carpentry and mechanical skills, be self-starters, presentable appearance with an outgoing personality that enjoys and promotes effective interaction with guests. Moderate physical activity required. Should have own truck. Seasonal position (May 1 through mid- October). Some paid time off will be provided. Personal and job references will be required.

Valuable skills include:

Pack Station/Horse/Mule skills

Facility Maintenance-basic plumbing, electrical, appliances, familiarity with generators/battery/inverter systems, snow equipment maintenance/operation, and lite construction/carpentry.

All aspect of Hospitality-office management, guest relations, advertising/social media promotion,housekeeping, cooking & kitchen management.

One extra Park host position for couple available starting right now with a 3-4 month commitment. 

We also have 2 openings for fall(Sept./Oct.) through winter/spring. Prefer a 4-6 month commitment or can be long-term.

Park Host duties are: Office and outdoor maintenance duties. Compensation is: landscaped FHU site, 30/50 amp, on-site free laundry, wifi, pet friendly park.
