WHY DO WE SHOW EXPIRED LISTINGS?
Traditional sporting lodge in remote North Maine Woods seeks a couple to be in charge of FOOD PREP and CABIN TURNOVERS. Bradford Camps is a high end sporting lodge serving 10 – 15 guests per day three meals, and turning cabins over between guests. Cooking duties include prepping an elaborate continental breakfast, bag lunches to order, and a plated dinner. The menu is a fixed 7-day rotation cycle, with homemade desserts. Baking skills a plus, willingness and ability to learn a necessity. The couple should be a team in the kitchen with food prep, and a team at the cabins for cleaning and turnovers.
Bradford Camps is very remote, 50 miles from the nearest paved road or town or service. Employees are provided full housing with all amenities (no tv!). Work schedule is based on camp occupancy, with shifts running for ten days or more. 6-8 days off per month. Season starts May and goes through October, 6 months total. Very comfortable salary, with significant shared tips. Second season employees receive health care aid.
