Property Maintenance and Cleanup - Gates, OR

We are a retired couple, still hard working ourselves. We purchased 5 acres steps from the North Santiam River in Gates, Oregon a couple years ago. It is a beautiful piece of property but we now realize we can't do it all without some help.
Due to the fires and ice storms that we had this past winter we now have to clean up property. Jobs needing done, are cleanup, planting trees and yard maintenance. We have a beautiful garden that will need planting and maintenance this summer and are happy to share the bounty of the harvest.
We have an RV space on our property that overlooks the river complete with hookups. We also have a nice bathroom inside on the property for use.
In return for three days a week work (24) hours we will provide FHU. My cousin needs help on his property and is next door so additional work would be easy to secure for additional compensation.

Campground in Northern California central to many tourist attractions, beach & coast in driving distance and we have great weather in the summer. We have two sets of positions needed to be filled. These are Fully paid positions ($13 per hour) and include FHU site, Wi-Fi, TV on Satellite end of season bonus and other perks. Staff have full access to all amenities. Positions are for reservations/store and maintenance or beer and wine pub. Positions are basied on background and experiance.
Family style resort with many returning guests located in an ancient grove of Redwoods with private access to the Eel river. This is not your normal typical workcamping job experience as we are looking for fun couples who enjoy the social aspect of being with others and enjoy a fun atmosphere, we are not looking for any drama.

Camp Hosts - Whatshan Lake, BC
WHY DO WE SHOW EXPIRED LISTINGS?
Description: Looking for an adventurous couple or 2 person team who have experience living remotely and have camp host experience. This is a live on site position in your own self contained trailer. Extensive on-site periods of time are required during peak season (July - August). The ideal candidates will have a professional, personable and friendly disposition and able to handle stressful situations while creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for our guests.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Two person operation working directly with the rental coordinator at Whatshan Lake Retreat Centre. Duties include: coordinating and welcoming guests, providing site and tourism related information, preparation/cleaning of campsites and Pines Centre and various light duty tasks such as: collecting garbage, recycling and general upkeep of the site, provide security for guests, ensure compliance with retreat site operations and safety rules, provide basic first aid when necessary.
Contract Requirements:
Must live on site in self contained trailer, be physically fit and able to handle physical activity (lift and carry 50 lbs), have experience in computers and previous experience with handling money. You must be well organized, energetic and love living a campsite lifestyle. You will have your basic first aid or are willing to obtian it ( defibrillator certification an asset). You are a team player. You are able to pass a criminal records check. This position is unique in that you will live for free on site and be provided a compensation. This is a contracted position stating ASAP - September, 2021.
Live in Lodge Manager and Cleaner for Ski Lodge at Mount Baw Baw Alpine Snow Resort - Australia
WHY DO WE SHOW EXPIRED LISTINGS?
Edski is a ski lodge located within the Mount Baw Baw Alpine Resort, we are looking to employ / contract a live in Lodge Manager and Cleaner for the 2021 winter / snow season. This live in role can be filled by an individual or by a couple.
This single position has two parts for the person or couple to fill, that of the Lodge Manager and that of the Cleaner as described below.
We are also advertising on behalf of John Gardiner, Tanjil, Skali and Everest Lodge for a cleaner to carry out similar cleaning work as that on offer at Edski. Note that there will be a separate agreements between the contractor (you) and the other properties for their cleaning work.
The first part as a contractor to us is to be our Lodge Manager.
The person or couple contracted will be Edski's lodge manager in return for free board (only the lodge managers apartment - 1 double bed, 2 bedside tables with drawers, bathroom with shower and toilet. They will have their own refrigerator with a small freezer section).
The duties of Edski's lodge manager includes but not limited to:
Being present for guest checkin at a set time
A quick clean of rooms after guests checkout
Assist and liaise between the bookings officer any problems as well as managing day to day general operations
Managing the wood fire in the lodge.
For performing this role, the lodge manager will receive a complimentary gate entry and lift season pass, have access to the same free WiFi as guests (limited download per day, more download can be discussed with the Bookings Officer).
The second part as a contractor to us is to clean for us and those properties we advertise on behalf of.
The Contractor will be Edski Lodge's Cleaner and will be paid $150 per week.
If we are exceptionally busy this will be increased to $200 per week for that week. Cleaning will include:
Cleaning bathrooms and toilets
Restocking supplies through the lodge
Vacuuming, Mopping and sweeping areas
Cleaning the main Kitchen and emptying the refridgerator as required.
Using a washing machine to wash linen
General clean of the rest of the lodge if required.
You will also contract to Everest Lodge, John Gardiner, Skali Lodge and Tanjil Lodge. These properties pay $25 per hour and offer 21-25 combined hours of Cleaning per week varying from general quick tidy up's, assisting their managers with cleans or focused cleans of kitchens and bathrooms.
Past experience has shown that with Edski's and other properties Cleaning workload, along with the Lodge Manager commitments, there are several hours free during the day for enjoying the resort or moving workload so that you have a completely free day off to head off mountain etc.
There may be opportunity to work at other businesses within the resort, please discuss first with us before committing to any additional work.
The Lodge Manager and Cleaner will be commissioned to start 19/06/2021
Edski offers this work between the Queens Birthday in June and the end of September. This work is not guaranteed and can be cancelled at any time dependent on snow falls and guest bookings. Generally there is work from the start of July to the end of August.
Edski, John Gardiner, Tanjil and Everest Lodge's check in and check out times differ and so cleaning duties at either accommodation provider will not conflict. If the Lodge Cleaner contracts their services to other parties then it is their responsibility that their cleaning duties at Edski are not affected.

Vegetarian Chef and Electrically minded couple to work on boat and house - Hawaii

Seeking a couple who is willing to come alongside an active older couple and assist them with yacht maintenance, cooking and household management both on their yacht and at their residence. Chef position must have a focus on vegetarian cooking.
Required qualities: willingness to relocated to Waikiki Hawaii. Physically fit and capable of handling vessel lines, maintenance including wash downs and cleaning. Able to go out with owners on 2-day to 14-day trips on board the vessel.
Chef Position:
- The position requires a caring and energetic individual who has a unique blend of nurturing, household management skills and the ability to promote the wellbeing of the owners in a way that maintains their own personality. The person must love people and have the ability to listen, a love of the sea.
- Must have a holistic view of health care including diet, exercise and traditional and non-traditional viewpoints.
- Able to assist with keeping the vessel and home clean and assist with day-to-day household management; shopping, errand running and assisting with making appointments.
- If the Chef has a partner, the partner must be willing to be crew and learn to maintain the vessel with emphasis on the electrical and mechanical systems.
Mechanical/ETO Position:
- Maintain all mechanical and electrical systems aboard their 77-foot 100ton ocean going vessel. General upkeep of all exterior systems of the vessel.
- The mechanical position will require the ability to trouble shoot problems with the skill to find answers to resolve issues. Be able to replace pumps, change impellers, oil changes, hydraulic system maintenance. Electrical understanding of 120/240vac and 24vdc systems, experience with and or ability to learn to replace defective switches and operate/adjust frequency drives. Proficient or quick study with using both windows PC’s and Mac computers, routers and modems.
- Day to day maintenance of yacht including; weekly washdowns, line handling when leaving the dock and returning. Licensing not needed but must be willing to learn.

Who are we?
Our house is a 3,500sq ft house that echoes a relaxed way of life. It is an open air space with tons of plants, koi fish pond, natural and upcycled materials with serene forest & ocean views. It is located in Kailua-Kona on the Big Island of Hawai’i, just 10 minutes to the nearest beach and to the town center.
We offer various units for rent - 3 bedrooms, 1 bedroom apartment, studio apartment, and a tiny house available for rent, as well as an on-site pool.
We welcome guests from all over the world (currently fully booked with mostly travelers from throughout the USA due to Covid) who come to the island to enjoy swimming, hiking, surfing, snorkeling, and all the other activities that the stunning nature of the island has to offer.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a couple to work together as a team and take over the day-to-day management and operations. This is a six month- 1 year commitment, with a month long trial period for training and to see if it is a good fit.
You would be taking care of both the guests and the property while enjoying everything that this amazing island has to offer. There is no set schedule, as work load depends on guest calendar and what needs to be done on a given day.

Responsibilities
- Manage Airbnb calendar, bookings and all guest communication
- Daily cleaning of 6 units to the highest standards
- Greeting guests upon check-in
- Create a welcoming environment for guests and have a presence on the property
- Interact with, answer questions and assist with resolving issues that may arise during guest stays
- Inventory management including supply shopping, ordering and organization of storage
- Plant care - must have a green thumb!
- Light maintenance and repairs
- Coordinating regular landscaping, pool, pond and trash servicing
- Driving recycling to the recycling center in town
- Coordination with plumber, electrician, or other professional if major issues arise
- Not only maintain, but seek to improve property, daily operations, and guest experience
- Be in consistent and reliable communication with owners
- Keep tabs other rental properties (restocking, emergencies, monthly walk throughs)
Qualifications
- Hospitality or property management experience
- Tech/computer savvy with AirBnB experience preferred
- Able to reply within 1 hour to all guest messages via text/Airbnb app (have phone on you at all times)
- Good communication skills and customer service oriented mind
- Able to provide references from past employers
- Possession of a valid driver's license
- No kids, no pets, no drugs. Non-smokers only.
- Must be US citizen or have permission to work in the US
Compensation
Compensation includes housing in the private upstairs Master Suite (usually occupied by owner) and use of huge kitchen, dining, and living room, as well as outdoor lanai and pool. We are happy to share detailed photos! Also utilities, car, and a stipend of $800/month, in addition to cleaning fees which average around $1000/month.
Timeline
Owner would like to leave sometime in summer/fall, depending on the state of the world as it opens. We will also wait to find the right candidate, as this is our home and business, and we need to feel a sense of total trust. We can figure out the timeline together. Please note there will need to be a 1-2 month trial/training period to see if this is going to work out. During this time, we will provide you with housing in the tiny house and a compensation of cleaning fees.
