RV Park/Self Storage Management Team - Republic, WA

About the opportunity
Position: RV / Mini Storage Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES | Duties include but are not limited to:
- Promote a positive attitude to all guests from beginning to end of their stay
- Help promote high occupancy of park through phone inquiries, reservations and marketing
- Familiarize yourself with the areas many activities and attractions
- Guarantee full functionality of the park in alignment with company policies.
- Handle cash, check and credit card transaction prepare and make bank deposits
- Send daily and weekly transaction reports to park owners.
- Coordinate park maintenance.
- Park Maintenance including Site Prep, Landscape, Plumbing, Electrical, Etc.
*Park Manager must live in the park property as we offer free housing or space rent and utilities.
Job Types: Full-time
Pay: $24,000 to $34,000.00 per year depending on housing requirements

ABOUT YOU:
- Own a well-maintained RV suitable to stay in for the season (picture submission required as part of interview process).
- Must possess a valid driver license with a clean 3-year history and no DUI convictions in the past 10 years (all new hires will be asked to provide a DMV printout)
- Clerical experience required
- Experience in the recreation industry preferred

- Strong communication and organization skills

- Ability to either stay on site in a well-maintained personal RV or camper (preferred) or ability to commute to your site each day (applicants planning to stay on site will be considered first)
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet arriving guests, assist with check –in and check out.
- Take an active role in seeing that facilities and equipment are properly maintained and used appropriately.
- Cleans fire pits, bear-lockers, rake around campsites, blow off parking areas and roadways.
- Paint/clean picnic tables as needed.
- Clean restrooms as per housekeeping schedule.
- Ensures vehicle procedures are followed in the use of assigned vehicles.
- Know, understand and follow established rules and standards for housekeeping and sanitation.
- Monitor campground loop and handle any concerns or questions from guests.
- Sell Company provided firewood.
- Adhere to Company dress code while on duty.
- Be a friendly and helpful resource to visitors.
- Enforce campground rules and regulations.
- Resolve conflicts among campers and report problems to Management as needed.
- Notify supervisor immediately any time a guest is not 100% satisfied with their experience.
- Collect payment from campers and envelopes from fee tubes.
- Do weed trimming and lawn mowing.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- Knowledgeable about visitor services and amenities in the forest and campground.
- Able to work weekends, nights and holidays
- Strong communication skills
- Positive attitude toward the campground environment
- Genuine concern for guests camping/lodging experience
- Able to work unsupervised
- Able to follow direction and work in a team environment
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean 3-year history, and no DUI within the past 10 years.
- Able to reside in personal RV that is less than 20 years old
Preferred:
- Experience in the recreation industry
- Be a willing member of The Basecamp Hospitality, performing all duties and functions as assigned to the best of his/her ability.
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT:
The Camp Host will use various tools and equipment on a daily basis. Footwear required shall be a work boot or a high-quality athletic shoe providing ankle support. No open toe sandals or flip-flops will be allowed on the job. The Camp Host will be knowledgeable in the safety practices and standards set by the Company, relative to the work environment he/she operates in. He/she will also make it a duty to assure that all co-workers are working with those same safety practices and standards.

Community Managers Needed - Eugene OR

We are in need of a team to oversee the management and maintenance of Lakewood Vista, a manufactured housing community in Eugene, Oregon. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
MAJOR DUTIES:
RENT COLLECTION
Collect and deposit on the day of collection all space rents and additional fees and charges.
Follow-up on late/delinquent rents.
Issue late rent notices and initiate and attends any eviction proceedings as necessary.
RENTAL AGREEMENT AND RULES & REGULATIONS ENFORCEMENT
Enforce terms of Rental Agreements and all Facility rules and regulations in accordance with company/Facility policy to ensure tenant compliance.
Supervise placement of RV's and manufactured homes into the Facility.
Ensure compliance with home standards, Facility rules and regulations, governmental codes and requirements, applicable setbacks, and manufactured home and RV set-up specifications, including the installation and construction of skirting, awnings, steps, gutters and downspouts with rain-drains to street, porches, and decks, and completion of landscaping.
Issue non-compliance notices and initiate and attend any eviction proceedings as necessary.
Promptly notify Area Manager of all outstanding non-compliance notices.
ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES
Prepare monthly manager's report and maintain petty cash fund and tenant histories.
Maintain individual tenant files and archive records for three (3) or six (6) years as required by law and current tenant telephone list.
Review tenant applications, screen potential tenants, execute rental agreements and all other required documents after approval.
Promote and rent vacant home and RV spaces. The same applies where there are Facility-owned homes for sale or rent and/or apartments.
Contact and follow-up with local area manufactured home dealers and Facility managers to ensure that they are aware of vacancies and any promotional program being offered to attract new tenants.
Maintain and update Facility inventory list with model and serial numbers of equipment. All tools and Facility property must be listed.
Maintain and update Facility vendor/supplier lists with phone numbers and contact person(s).
Post and/or distribute notices to tenants as required by Employer and keep copy in applicable tenant file.
Purchase of goods and services for amounts of $50.00 or more require Area Manager approval.
FACILITY MAINTENANCE
Maintain all common areas, grounds, vacant and abandoned yards/spaces, landscaping, trees, shrubs, hedges, bushes, etc. including, but not limited to mowing, fertilizing, weeding, trimming, pruning, edging and keeping clean and free of debris.
Be familiar with and prepared to operate back-up portable gas-powered sewer pump in case of primary power failure.
Contact and follow-up with local repair/service contracts on sewer pump maintenance.
Perform any other specific tasks as may be directed by management. Some of the tasks listed below may not be applicable to your Facility.
Maintain and clean recreation building, laundry facilities and RV storage area.
Maintain, clean, and keep free of debris all drains, ditches, streets, parking areas, and sidewalks and road frontage
Maintain, clean, keep free of debris, and test swimming pool chemicals daily, when pool is open.
Maintain playground area grounds and periodically checks playground equipment for safety hazards.
Paint and/or repair Facility structures as necessary.
Maintain and test all Facility equipment including vehicles, lawn mowing equipment, miscellaneous tools, etc.
Maintain and clean street surfaces, paint speed bumps, and re-stripe common parking areas as needed.
This is a part time position working 28 hours per week total. Compensation includes salary, housing, and utilities. The community manager is required to live onsite.

We are looking to immediately fill positions for a winter WORK CAMPING COUPLE to start working at our RV resort September 15, 2021 through April 15, 2022. Visitor Services Positions-- October-December 2021 - Jamestown, KY

Join our U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service volunteer team! We rely on volunteers to staff our Visitor/Environmental Education Center and assist in outreach activities year-round. Now hiring volunteers for October-December 2021. Minimum three month commitment preferred.
Duties
Meeting/greeting the public; answering questions; performing majority of cleaning and minor maintenance; leading tours and helping with field trips; caring for live education animals; assisting in day-to-day operation of Center gift shop; stocking/tracking/ordering brochures; helping to plan special events, workshops and other outreach programs.
Compensation
Workamper volunteers receive a FHU campsite including onsite laundry and WiFi, in exchange for 20-27 hours/person/week (summer) and 18-24 hours/person/week (winter). Propane provided during winter.
