Seeking a couple to act as Villa Concierge & Chef for luxury vacation rental of Villa in Los Suenos, Costa Rica.
Exclusive Villa to be marketed for high end vacation rentals. Requires a couple to manage all aspects of the guests stay. Idealy candidates will have a background in luxury hospitality and/or yachts.
Start date: July 2021
2021 dates will be July - November 30, 2022 and onwards will be Jan 8 - Sept 30.
Accomodation provided: in the form of 2 bed condo for the sole use of the Villa Manager/s, off site, 1/2mile from Villa.
Salary: $5000 - $6000 combined DoE
Combines Villa Managers Job Description:
- [ ] Act & Represent the Villa Owners when rented out to guests
- [ ] Maintain & manage Liquor, Wine & Cigar inventory
- [ ] Purchasing of provisions for guest trips.
- [ ] Communication & concierge service for guests prior & during trip to ensure guests requests are catered for all all times.
- [ ] Inform & assist guests of available house amenities
- [ ] Have knowledge of how to use and explain all available guest equipment including, but not limited to Golf Simulator, Xbox, RZRs, Golf Cart.
- [ ] Have knowledge of available tours, sights, fishing trip, helicopter tours, surfing & diving. Organize excursions for guests on request
- [ ] Breakfast, lunch, dinner preparation for guests.
- [ ] Organize dinner parties & events for guests
- [ ] Cocktail, Wine & beverage service on request
- [ ] Maintain Villa to high standard of cleanliness & order

Holding safety meetings
Overseeing office staff and grounds crew

Responding to after hours calls and emergencies
Accounting for park finances
The current managers have been working here for 5 years and have established a successful system for running the park. The purpose of hiring a co-management team is to lighten the load and free up time for the managers to focus on the financial side of the business and allow for more personal time.
As a busy park with high reservation turn-around, the work environment is dynamic and multi-layered. Co-managers are expected to actively take the initiative to solve problems as they arise and prevent problems from arising to the best of their ability.
As co-managers, you will be provided with a 5th wheel or trailer to live-in, rent free in one of the park’s spaces. Your water, sewer, trash, and electricity will be paid for. Basic cable and wifi is also free of charge.

Our community is 92 spaces which includes a pool and recreational hall. Individual must be active and motivated in order to provide a quality living environment for residents and promote positive resident relations as well as:
ON-SITE MANAGER POSITION:
• Maintain high occupancy
• Prospective applicant screening
• Enforce community Rules and Regulations
• Proper serving of all rule violation notices and legal notices
• Promote positive public relations with prospects, residents, vendors and clients
• Achieve timely rent collections and handle all income related issues
• Keep monthly expenditures within the limits of the approved budget
• Take the necessary steps to ensure both appearance and physical integrity of the property and its assets are in good condition at all times
• Develop a professional, motivated team through effective personnel management
• Coordinate the maintenance of the property to ensure the quality and timeliness of maintenance efforts
• Communicate all property issues in a timely manner to Property Manager and other key principals
Requirements:
• MUST HAVE MANAGING EXPERIENCE!
• Minimum 1year experience as resident manager
• Must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to interact effectively with prospects, residents, peers, staff and management
• Excellent property management skills including leasing, marketing, resident relations/control and customer service
• Good computers skills (property management software – Rent Manager preferred, Excel, Word and Email)
• Experience with all financial related issues -- expenditure control, maximizing income, collections, budgeting, etc.

• Able to work with and understand general plumbing, electric, sewer issues

MAINTENANCE POSITION:

• Responsible for maintaining the grounds (streets and landscaping), park buildings and park facilities (pool, restrooms, clubhouse, storage areas) and park owned homes in a clean, safe and first-class manner.
• Reports to on-site manager
Requirements:
• Perform various maintenance tasks for the park and for residents of the park on behalf of the owner & manager
• Identify for the manager maintenance issues which need to be addressed, areas for park improvement, report rule violations by residents
• Regular inspection of all park common areas and improvements
• Maintaining all common areas in a clean, safe and first-class condition
• Miscellaneous repairs of park owned rental homes & resident units (only as directed by manager)
