A successful and popular international boutique hotel on the Pacific Ocean in the Republic of Panama is looking for a stable couple to take charge of its restaurant operation and run it as if it were their own business. You should have the following minimum professional experience:

1. Head of kitchen/main chef (one of the couple should have at least three years’ experience being a chef and managing a kitchen team)  

2. Restaurant front of house manager / Maitre (the other applicant should have at least two years’ experience in this role)

Hotel Bocas del Mar has twenty guest suites and its oceanside, open-sided restaurant is always in the top 5 in the Panama province of Chiriquí on TripAdvisor.  Apart from the location and great service, the restaurant has earned that praise through good-value and varied menus of international and regional dishes to please the hotel guests. The guests are generally middle-class vacationers from Panama, North America and Europe. The restaurant also welcome diners from outside the hotel for lunch and dinner. Apart from being a professional couple who have worked together before and are committed to customer service, you should also:

• Both be able to speak Spanish to a high level, in order to manage your teams (you’ll have about 20 people working in the bar, restaurant and kitchen)
• (The front of house manager also needs to speak excellent English. Other languages a plus too but not essential)
• Both be lovers of nature and the outdoors – we are in a stunning, oceanside rural location that we love and we want you to love it too (50 minutes ride to the nearest city)
• One or both good at basic math to calculate food dish costs and budgets, although you’ll be able to use the hotel’s accounts department to support you on the bigger things
• Both enjoy working with, motivating and meeting people from different cultures; tell us about that in your application.

FEATURED JOB OPENING: Retail Clerks - Badlands National Park, Interior, SD

We are in search of retail clerks for the visitor center at Badlands National Park who have an RV to live in. We would also be willing to work with hiring only one, if only one of you chooses to want to work. 

The job is working for a non-profit partner dedicated to helping the park. It is a retail clerk job, with some driving, mail runs, and warehouse inventory pick ups with company vehicle. 

We do have an RV pad spot included upon hire with full hookups within a few hundred yards of the visitor center, so know that we have a spot for you when filling out our application. It is paid for by us, so you don't have to pay anything for your spot.
