FEATURED JOB OPENING: Onsite Live In Management Couple for Small Resort on Shasta Lake in Northern California

We are a 10 cabin & 7 RV site Resort located on the Sacramento arm of Shasta Lake in Northern California.  We are seeking an on-site live in management couple for the 2025 season.

Our season runs Memorial Day through Labor Day  

The resort has been a favored accommodation for guests. We are looking for a "hands-on" duo with complementary skills to reside on property.

We pride ourselves in providing our family-oriented resort with customer service, cleanliness and responsible management.

The Ideal couple will have some experience in managing and have basic maintenance skills.

The candidates shall have the energy to maintain the resort daily and be available to guests’ needs.

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Reservations management (phone and maintaining online reservation system)
• Purchasing of supplies as needed
• Grounds keeping
• Housekeeping scheduling~ Cabins must be Extremely Clean
• Security
• Pool maintenance and chemical logging
• Use of equipment to include lawnmower; backhoe; blower; weed trimmer; and other maintenance equipment and tools
• Daily managing of cleanliness both internal and external

A furnished 2-bedroom cabin with all utilities, onsite laundry, cable and internet service, along with income is being offered to the selected applicants. In addition, there is the potential of a year-end bonus.

The couple will demonstrate a passion for hospitality, an entrepreneurial spirit, be reliable and dependable, business appropriate and personable to interact with guests.  Honest and good natured and provide attention to creating a pleasing and clean atmosphere.

Temporary live-in couple sought to assist with the smooth running of a Holiday home in West Cork from April 2025 – April 2026.  Though the preference is for a couple with relevant experience, an entry level couple with the necessary aptitude will be considered.  Other staff work on the Estate.  Might suit a travelling couple from Australia or New Zealand looking for a short term work experience contract.

Daily cooking (by arrangement with the family)

Running errands, collecting and dropping guests to the airport

Assisting with two additional properties on the Estate plus a Boat House

FEATURED JOB OPENING: Cruise Ship Port Agents - Hoonah, AK

Description:  Cruise Line Agencies of Alaska is looking for a couple of energetic people to be our port managers in Hoonah, Alaska for the 2025 Summer Cruise Season. This is a seasonal/full time position. The lead manager will be paid a salary for the entire year (12 months) but only need to be on site for approximately 7 months (April-Mid October), they are then free to leave but will still receive a monthly salary. The lead position will also include a very substantial Health Insurance program as well as retirement benefits. The lead manager is on call 24-7 for the time they are in Hoonah.

The secondary Manager will be paid $25 per hour plus overtime for hours worked, (minimum would be 40 hours per week.

Housing: Housing is included at no cost

Internet: Included at no cost.

Transportation: Included at no cost.

Airfare to and from Hoonah: We pay airfare from your current residency to Hoonah and return at the end of the season.

Job Description: Cruise Line Agencies of Alaska takes care of the large cruise ships that come to Alaska in the summer months. Our local Managers are responsible for filing the arrival and departure notices with U.S.Customs and Border Protection. Arranging for docking of the ship with the dock owner. Taking care of any problem that might arise while the ship is in port. You will need to send daily email messages to ships and other stakeholders. We do not expect the successful candidate to have this knowledge but be willing to learn.

Successful Candidate should have the following qualifications.

Are you looking for a family friendly position in a beautiful location? We are looking for a fun, hard-working couple to help us with maintenance and housekeeping at our wonderful family-friendly resort on crystal clear North Long Lake from end of April to early October 2025. This is a perfect opportunity for a retired or semi-retired couple. Due to the fluid nature of a resort, flexibility is a must - hours are varied (approx 30-35 week), but Saturdays are mandatory June, July and August. We offer a free RV camping site, full hookups (you pay electric), free Wi-Fi, water and sewer, discounts on clothing and pizza, and some pay. You must be able to perform manual labor. You also must be friendly and outgoing. No heavy drinkers or drug users need apply.

Maintenance duties include, but not limited to, mowing, weed whacking, launching of customer and rental boats, general cabin-mower-boat maintenance, help installing and removal of docking system, pumping gas, light construction, cleaning fire pits and cleaning grills.

Housekeeping duties include, but not limited to, cleaning cabins, game room, bathrooms, pool area, cabin opening and closing duties.  This position requires the ability to perform physical labor and climb the occasional ladder.
