FEATURED JOB OPENING: Property Managers - Crystal Mountain, WA
WHY DO WE SHOW EXPIRED LISTINGS?
Couple needed to manage day-to-day operations of a condominium complex. These Condos are also rented to the public. Duties include housekeeping, laundry, grounds maintenance, snow removal, trash, etc.
Salary: Conversation will take place with one of the Board members who oversees this position. An apartment and all utilities are included, including internet.
Manager Accommodations: A small apartment, 1 bedroom, about 400 sq ft. is included. It is furnished. There isn’t really traditional closet space but you can make it work. It is small but very comfortable.
Rentals: The condos rent simultaneous with the ski resort season. When the resort is open, we rent. It is a 36 unit complex but we rent an average of 12 - 20 units at a time. Each unit is individually owned so the units are rented on a rotational basis. This property is unique in that you are serving three masters. The Forest Service, guests and the owners. The condos are on a Forest Service Lease so there are certain requirements that must be met.
Season: Basically the seasons run from June – mid September and end of Nov- April,(winter season is snow dependent). You can count on at least 3 months of down time annually, during which you can take vacation if you like. The summers are much slower than winter. You can expect to be completely booked out between Christmas and New Year and then every winter weekend. By March it slows down again. SEASONAL BONUSES INCLUDED.
This position is very physical. There is laundry to be taken to town on a weekly basis, trash to be hauled. The complex sits high on a hill and, in the Winter, there can be many, many trips up and down LOTS of stairs to accomplish the aforementioned tasks. It is a bit easier in the Summer as you can get a vehicle closer to the buildings. It is best if you have a large vehicle/truck to transport the laundry and trash.
Supervision: The HOA Board is very, very easy to work for and the position is autonomous. They are always receptive if they are needed.
Availability: We are looking for someone that can start ASAP mid to end of April, the actual date is negotiable.
This is a beautiful area. There are so many outdoor activities. You have the ability to walk out the door and hike up the mountain. We are on the Sunrise side of Mount Rainier National Park so the possibilities for recreation are endless.
The best cell service up here is Verizon.
There is no insurance provided.
There isn’t a reception desk reservations handled by a reservation manager.
If we are expecting guests, or have guests, and get late night calls we always answer in case they are having difficulty.

Grassy Flats Resort and Beach Club is currently looking to fill several roles between Hotel and Restaurant operations. We are a 38 unit family owned boutique resort in The Florida Keys with a brand new 180 seat restaurant and rooftop lounge set to open late spring '23.
We are hiring all kitchen staff, bartenders, servers, and hostesses. Our hotel operation is looking for an experienced front desk agent / receptionist or hotel manager that can help coordinate hotel operations and work with a great team.
We are an award winning eco resort on a private beach with a world class watersports program. Owner Matt Sexton rebuilt the hotel from the remnants of Hurricane Irma and operates a sister property a mile down the road as a day resort / tropical marketplace complete with activities like Cable Wakeboarding, Kiteboarding, Foilboarding, and a massive inflatable Aqua Park obstacle course. They also operate a Beer Garden, Food Truck and Surf Shop.
Most employees at Grassy Flats and The Lagoon on Grassy Key are like "Swiss Army Knives" and operate different rolls between the two properties. While we are currently looking specifically for hotel and restuarant employees there are also open rolls in retail and watersports.

Maintenance
- Maintain the property's physical appearance and working order of the rooms, equipment, appliances, public areas, and grounds. 10 multi-unit buildings and a few cottages.
- Ensure cleanliness, preventative maintenance and repair of all in room amenities such as fireplaces, kitchen/kitchenettes, window treatments, furniture, carpet, electrical and plumbing
- Responsible for tools, equipment and mechanical functionality (i.e. hot water heaters, appliances, ice machines, etc.)
- Ability to interact and work with professional trades as needed (when we call in the experts)
- Ability to research and identify parts or repair techniques as needed to complete repairs.
Front Desk
- Execute role of the front desk, efficiently handling the check-in and checkout processes according to hotel procedures and standards. Front desk is the primary contact for guest interaction and services
- Complete phone reservations and accurately sell rooms based on guest need and preference.
- Manages guest issues effectively, work with management and team to address any guest satisfaction issues
- Maintain knowledge of property and local specifics in assisting guests
Housekeeping
- Proficient working knowledge of the cleaning of rooms according to hotel procedures and standards.
- Ability become knowledgeable with use of housekeeping management system (mobile app based)
- Attention to detail and ability to meet or exceed established standards. An eye for what can be done.
- Ability to communicate and work in a team environments; may work independently or as team
- Must physically be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, bend, reach and all other aspects of housekeeping.
Supervior/Management
- Potential for shift lead or managerial position depending on experience.
- Must be experienced in team leadership, training, and coaching.
- Must be proficient with various systems and ability to understand all aspects of business and individual roles.
