RV Resort Manager - Couple - Ft Myers, FL

Qualifications: Applicants must be a legally married husband and wife willing to relocate to Amarillo. Qualified applicants will demonstrate sound judgment and good moral character, will have the ability to work with groups of youth from traumatic backgrounds, and will be able to serve as a role model for youth.
Additionally, applicants must be 21 + years of age, fluent in English, possess a valid drivers' license and good driving record, pass drug and tuberculosis screenings, and pass thorough background checks. Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED. College coursework in social work, psychology, education or related is preferred. Experience working with youth is strongly preferred.
House Parents may have up to two of their own children and one pet living on campus with them in their apartment, that includes a full kitchen, living area, two bedrooms and bathroom.

House Parent Job Duties include
- Provide supervision and emotional safety for youth
- Provide for the emotional needs of youth by providing praise, empathy, optimism, and respect
- Provide for the social needs of youth by teaching social skills and fostering healthy relationships
- Provide for the spiritual needs of youth by participating as a Christian example on and off campus, encouraging youth’s spiritual growth, participate in regular spiritual devotionals, and when on duty at Amarillo Children’s Home, attend church with the cottage youth regularly.
- Provide for the academic and vocational development of youth by working with school personnel, establishing specific goals, and assisting youth in achieving their goals.
- Provide helpful feedback related to the youth’s progress in accordance with their goals and ACH's program
- Manage funds for the home including a checking account and cash for youth activities. Prepare regular accounting and reports for funds.
- Maintain the cleanliness of cottages that includes the inside and outside locations in compliance with state contract and minimum standard requirements, health standards, and administration expectations so that a positive image is presented
- Provide transportation for youth in care on a regular basis, including to school, work, extracurricular activities, medical appointments, and other activities as needed

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Farm Hand and House Keeper couple to join us in managing our recently purchased 180-acre property. We plan to grow hay and raise a small herd of beef cattle. The ideal candidates will have previous experience as a Farm Hand and be willing to work on a wide a variety of tasks as well be willing to clean, cook and do laundry for several family members that all locally.
Responsibilities for the Farm Hand:
-Operate and maintain tractors and hand tools for farm work
-Perform landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming hedges, pulling weeds, raking leaves and other standard yard work during summer and snow maintenance during winter.
-Maintain hay fields and cattle including feeding, watering, and checking the general health of the herd
-Be flexible to work on either our dairy farm or electrical company during winter months, both of which are located near by.

-Assist with interior property maintenance including cleaning the home on the property as well the rest of the family's homes who live nearby

Duties & Responsibilities

- Become an active member of the local community outside your campground, by attending events and networking with local businesses, government groups, and organizations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and neighbors.
- Bring your ideas! Recommend best practices, including but not limited to community management, sales, events, training, and camper experience on a company-wide level.
Guests Services
- Manage all campground operations to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction
- Go the extra mile to address and solve camper-related issues to ensure an unmatched guest experience
- Know your guests, then create and oversee unique and memorable onsite events for them, like live music, food festivals, camper competitions, etc.
- Proactively gather information on your guests and their travel plans to find ways to “WOW” them
- Design and implement rules, guidelines, and best practices for the community to maximize your guests' experience.
Lead By Example
- Recruit, train, and lead your on-site team
