Self Storage Resident Manager Team - Surprise, AZ

Storage West Self Storage has an opening at our newest facility in Surprise, Arizona scheduled to open at the end of May. The facility managers will live on the property, in an apartment provided by the Company.

Key duties of a Storage West Facility Manager team include providing outstanding customer service, renting storage spaces, answering and responding to telephone calls and e mails about rentals and tenant issues, maintaining the cleanliness of the property, data entry, filing, banking, keeping the facility neat and organized, marketing the facility in the community and more.

Prior self storage or property management is a plus; prior customer service and sales management experience is required. You must have a valid driver's license and good driving record. You must have reliable transportation, possess an outgoing personality, have a professional appearance, be flexible to the changing needs of the business, and be a team player. Must be able to lift, carry, bend, stoop, push a broom, etc. Candidates must have excellent communication skills, written and oral, and be proficient at basic PC skills such as MS Office Word, Excel and Outlook.

This motivated team will act much like a Mayor, Supervisor, Gardener, Maintenance & take a hands-on approach in any necessary duties to accomplish objectives. Work hours are a normal weekdays with weekends off (except as needed for appointments and possible emergencies). Tasks include mowing lawns in common areas; trimming trees and shrubs; contacting the appropriate contractor in the event of an emergency; overseeing all aspects of the community. Being able to prioritize work and budget for the community needs is essential. Applicants must apply as a team and live on-site in management provided home. Computer & maintenance skills are required. We offer excellent compensation & possible advancement opportunities. Candidates must pass a background and credit check, but perfect credit is not required.
