House Parents play a central role in the students’ lives as caregivers, role models, and motivators. The primary role of House Parents is to nurture, educate and parent each student entrusted in their care. Cottage homes consist of approximately 12 students ranging from 7- 17 years old. House Parents work to create a family-like atmosphere in the cottage homes and provide both quality one-on-one and group time with the children to develop self-worth and autonym. The House Parents oversee the basics of the students’ daily living, including their physical, mental, and emotional care. House Parents collaborate with case managers, teachers, administrators, and parent/guardians to facilitate student success.
Requirements include:

Houseparents are live-in child-care workers. Their responsibilities are for the day to day care and guidance of teenagers in a residential setting. Houseparents develop a family home environment which includes cooking, transporting, caring for children, and correcting behaviors. This position would require a two-person team where the individuals live onsite in an apartment that is provided and are available for on call and after hours emergencies. This position is essential to the successful operation of a residential building and is responsible for: • Have a thorough knowledge and understanding of all maintenance systems (pumps, emergency generators, HVAC, boilers, chillers, swimming pools, sprinklers, etc.). • Complete maintenance repairs on a timely basis to ensure resident satisfaction and safety (within 24 – 48 hours). • Complete minor suite renovations or upgrade work including painting and general carpentry. • Complete general maintenance in parking garages and lots, mechanical rooms, rooftops and other common areas. • Coordinate month-end duties and responsibilities, including suite pre-inspection, and scheduling of contractors and staff for turnover of suites. • Supervise staff, service providers and contractors and oversee quality of work performed. Be responsible for opening and locking suite doors for • Perform cleaning duties according to established standards. • Encourage appointments or viewings with all prospective resident callers or walk-ins. • Conduct viewings of the property and suites with prospective residents. • Complete background checks, order credit checks, complete and execute the signing of leases, schedules, assignments, and addendum forms. Successful candidates will have a service-oriented approach, excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of building maintenance systems, painting and carpentry skills, and the ability to work flexible hours. Camp Host Positions - Almond, WI

Wisconsin – Fountain Lake RV Park in Almond, WI is looking for Work Camper couples to work in our office for 21 hours (3 days on and 4 days off) and an additional 3 hours doing lawn maintenance per week in exchange for a 50 AMP full hook-up site including electricity. The office work also includes cleaning of the two clubhouse bathrooms, clubhouse, and laundry building. The 3 hours of lawn maintenance can be done concurrently with the office hours.
