Ranch Manager/Caretaker Couple for Newly Acquired 195 acre Ranch - Ocala, FL
WHY DO WE SHOW EXPIRED LISTINGS?
Ranch Manager/Caretaker Responsibilities:
Live on and secure 195 acre ranch. Caretaker housing is furnished or if you have things you would like to bring, that would be fine too. Utilities included. Pets are welcome.
Horses (Our personal horses -12-20) feed, grooming, stalls, cleaning. We will be hiring additional staff to assist with duties for boarded horses. We intend to have 4 ranch hands during off season and probably 8 during season.
Petting zoo (miniature goats, donkeys, piglets, and sheep) socialize
Maintain Vegetable Garden
Responsible for maintaining the physical appearance of the buildings and grounds, may include some light building repairs, painting, electrical and plumbing repairs, etc.
General Care and Maintenance of the facility would be the Ranch Manger(s) responsibilities. However, we will have a grounds keeper. Ranch Manager will oversee the groundskeeper. and other staff.
Inventory/reorder supplies,feed, hay, supplements
Operational knowledge of tractor and farm equipment including repair/maintenance.
Assist with special event set-up and break down, (we will be hosting various charity functions to support our 501c3) for fundraisers we will be hiring caterers, servers, bartenders, security, etc. We would need Ranch Manager to coordinate with the outside vendors, grant access when necessary and point them in direction where setup is needed. (Basically, assist them in doing their job on the property and make sure everyone has left at the end of the event.)
Three SFR’s on the property. The home closest to the entrance will be the caretaker residence. The main house and a guest house will require general upkeep, cleaning. We may ask you to stock refrigerator(s) and pick up guests from airport when necessary.
Additional responsibilities as needed.
Boarding/Rehab Income Producing Program (Property has EuroXciser and Equine Lap Pool)
• Responsible for courteous, efficient customer service conduct at all times.
• Interaction with Trainers, Therapists and Veterinary Staff when necessary
• Manage boarders, boarding contracts, payments and general book keeping. Will be utilizing Horse Management Software (equineGenie) for the management of the books, boarders, etc. Owner will also be able to access system from home and will handle vendor invoices and payments for supplies, bank deposits and general management of the business. Ranch Manger responsible for data entry , horse information, owner, health records, boarding fees and payments records. Owner will set up the database with our vendors, account information, vet information, trainers, etc. so that when you reorder supplies it will just be a phone call and you verifying delivery of products ordered. Owner will train on the system and be available by phone most of the time should you have questions. Software tech support is also available 24/7.
• Handle resident issues (Boarders) efficiently and effectively while maintaining standard of professionalism.
• Responsible for reporting any unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the horse owners, horses (boarders) or the property.
Ranch Foreman (Couple) - Del Rio, TX

An 8000 acre private deer- breeding ranch is looking for a top-notch, experienced Ranch Foreman for a full time, long term position. Foreman will live on the ranch. We are looking for a self-starter that can work unsupervised and be able to do some repairs and maintain the equipment as you go about your daily routine. Looking for someone willing to get the job done and improve the ranch. Those with very strong work ethic are encouraged to apply. We are looking for a mature, dedicated, honest couple that will work as a team with us. No children at all.
The ranch will provide the following: 1) Brand new 3-bedroom modular home to live in. 2) Water, DISH TV, cell phone, electricity, laptop computer provided 3) On the ranch work truck is provided. 4) Deer hunting is off-limits. 5) The salary is $3000 per month plus health insurance. 6) Occasional housekeeping duties could pay extra.
The Ranch Team will provide: 1) Monitoring water systems in pens and throughout ranch. 2) Checking deer pens and ranch feeders on a weekly schedule. 3) Maintain and check water wells 4) Mechanical ability is required. 5) Maintain ranch vehicles and ATV’s. 6) Maintain house appliances. 7) Maintain and expand fences. 8) General ranch maintenance 9) Maintain health of deer.

Work Camping Couple - Phillipsburg, MO

A Front Desk position is open at our Inn & RV Park in Eunice, Louisiana. Workcamp in a friendly, mom and pop, quiet park on the Cajun Prairie centrally located between four major cities within the state. This 14-acre park offers 21 rooms, 17 RV sites, fishing pond, swimming pool, winter activities within the city and at LSUE, a mild winter climate. Park utilizes “Campground Master” for reservation system, booking.com. Experience with either is a plus.
This can be a temporary position for the winter or a year-round position for the right couple. In exchange for 96 hours per month (24 hours per week) per occupied site, seasonal or year-round work campers receive:

Laundry tokens
2 work shirts
Compensation of hours over 96/month at $8.50 per hour
Note that overage hours are nominal and cannot be relied on as a significant source of income.
Standard duties include answering phone calls, check ins and check outs for guests, assisting guests with area information, assisting guests with room needs (additional laundry, toiletries, and/or lock outs), updating marketing and social media, keep lobby tidy, and general guest relation services. Our lobby is open from 8am to 8pm. Work camper to “fill in gaps” for owners and have one evening on call.
Work campers must live on site and must provide their own RVs. Work campers are allowed up to two people and one dog per RV site. Aggressive dog breeds are not allowed. Cats must live indoors and must abide by the same leash and waste rules as dogs when outdoors. This is a seasonal position but can be a year-round position for the right couple. A valid driver’s license is required. Opportunity for light maintenance and painting up to 10 hours per week paid in addition to front desk position.

COUPLE FOR HENLEY
We need a couple for our recently refurbished and large, nine bedroom country house on the River Thames. The house is spread over three floors and has been finished to a very high standard.
We have three boys (up to the age of 10) and one on the way. We have a Thai nanny/housekeeper who has been with us for seven years. It is a formally run household, but with children this will make a slightly more informal atmosphere, there will also be animals (dogs)

You will need to be smart and presentable. Although we have a Skipper for the boats and a team of gardeners, the Caretaker may be asked to help out with these departments if needs be. For example, if the Skipper is on holiday and the Boathouse needs cleaning and the Caretaker has time then he will be tasked accordingly. Out of hours working will be required on the odd occasion for example when there is a dinner party and guests stay.
- 5½ days per week, hours will be 08:00 until 5.30 p.m. with an hour for lunch. Half day will be morning or afternoon 4¼ hours.
