Caretaker and Housekeeper/Cook Couple for Boston Area Estate - Boston, MA
WHY DO WE SHOW EXPIRED LISTINGS?
A private Boston family without live-in children is seeking a live-in married couple to maintain their Boston area estate. They are looking for an impeccably honest, reliable, hardworking and mature couple to replace their current couple who are retiring after almost 20 years. This unique opportunity requires a long term commitment preferably with relevant experience and strong positive references. There are separate living quarters within the house including a private kitchen. The compensation package in addition to housing and a food allowance, consists of a generous salary and benefit package which includes healthcare, dental plan and vision insurance, 2 week’s vacation and 2 days off each week.
Caretaker:
- Willing to do indoor and outdoor work. There is additional gardening help on this estate.
- General handyman services and some mechanical ability desirable.
Housekeeper/cook:
- Good skills in cooking healthy, savory meals and an interest in attractive presentation.
- Grocery shopping and limited laundry.
- Responsible for general indoor cleaning and careful care of fine furniture, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:
Hire, train and motivate personnel
Rent Collection
Eviction process as necessary
Fill Vacancies (if applicable)
Home sales (if applicable)
Prepare Monthly reports
Maintain organized resident files
Enforce community rules/regulations and follow all applicable safety procedures
Promote positive resident relations through various programs; newsletters, activities, potlucks, etc.
Work effectively, cooperatively, and respectfully with co-workers, clients and other contacts
Property Maintenance and Inspections
Compensation - $1,000 a month plus free housing, utilites and sales bonuses.

Powder River Farm in the Dell is currently seeking a self-motivated Christian couple for a Live-In Home Manager position for a rural Christian group home in a farm/ranch setting.
The Live-in Home Manager will be responsible for the supervision, direct care and nurturing of four adult males with development disabilities.
The position requires a strong desire to care for residents with developmental disabilities and experience would be beneficial. The Manager(s) must be a role model of high moral behavior in the home, having the ability to share those principles as they apply in daily living situations. The Manager(s) must work with the best interest of the resident as their first and primary priority with the position.
The responsibilities include ensuring the delivery of quality daily care and supervision of the residents. The Live-in Manager(s) will implement training goals and objectives, which will foster the spiritual, physical, mental and vocational development of each resident. Also, required is transporting residents, planning and preparing meals, keeping up house and grounds, plus chores/maintenance that comes with life on a farm.
